Oaks Hospital has a tradition of working closely with Consultants and patients to ensure the best quality healthcare is consistently being delivered. All Consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures, ensuring only those who are qualified and experienced are granted practising privileges which are reviewed on a regular basis. On Friday last week, we celebrated an incredible milestone as we wished Michelle a very happy retirement after 30 years of dedicated service at Oaks Hospital.

Throughout her time with us, Michelle has been a respected colleague, trusted leader, and valued member of the Oaks Hospital family. Her passion for delivering excellent patient care and her commitment to supporting those around her have made a lasting difference to both patients and staff alike.

As Michelle embarks on her well-deserved retirement, Laura, who will be taking over as Outpatients Manager, shares a few words of appreciation:

"Over the past 30 years, Michelle has played a fundamental role in shaping the Outpatients Department into what it is today. Her immense knowledge and unwavering commitment to Oaks Hospital and Ramsay Healthcare, together with her dedication, loyalty and friendship, have been invaluable. Michelle will be sorely missed by her colleagues and friends, but we wish her every happiness as she begins this well-earned new chapter in her life.
