Village Heather was out of Village Girl, whose dam was Village Grey, out of Village Belle, out of Village Swallow…back to Lucy Grey….I’m sure some of you will have pictures of these mares 😉 do post below! 📸

Lovely to see a lot of faces at the British Connemara Pony Society breed show - a lovely time was had by all 🤩

- Canal Elizabeth 2nd in 2 year old filly class 🥈
- She is by Clifden Supreme Dunloughan Troy out
of Canal Erica (Glencarrig Knight x Village
Heather - Both supreme champions in Clifden)

- Over the moon for Beth Taylor and Connla Leon - 3rd in the NPS Intermediate and then won the NPS Open ridden 🎉🤩 so proud of them both as it’s all coming together for them now 😍 He is by Haselor Cormack and out of Canal Lorna (Hazy Match x Canal Linda).

- Vanilla Saoirse and Isabella Thatcher having their first crack at breed show ridden classes, a lovely mare and looking forward to seeing these two go forward.
She is by Manor Duke and out of a Glencarrig Lexus mare.

- Congrats also to Janis and Hallie in the cake bake off awards 😝🤩🍰👏

We’re delighted to introduce Connla Lincoln, bay going grey.

Lincoln is by Hojbjergs Bright Star (Innellan Kestrel) and out of the renowned Canal Lady. Lady descends from the Canal family and further back the Village line, a maternal line recognised for producing traditional Connemara ponies of quality, substance and beautiful type.

Lincoln is a smart c**t with a lovely outlook and a friendly nature. We are pleased with the traditional type he is developing and look forward to watching him continue to mature over the coming months.

As we retain fillies for the future of our breeding programme, Lincoln will be available to a new home at weaning.

Oaklyn carries forward one of the exceptional maternal families entrusted to us - being a granddaughter of a Clifden Supreme Champion Village Heather - we’re excited to watch her grow over the months ahead.

A last-minute decision to venture off to Eastern Connemaras Show that paid off! 💙

Canal Elizabeth won her 2-year-old class and then went forward to take Reserve Youngstock Champion. 🏆

We only decided that morning to take her, so she had a quick bath, loaded up, and headed off. She behaved absolutely impeccably all day with her truly bombproof temperament. So proud of this special girl and everything she achieved today! ✨
