Your back pain might not actually be coming from your back... 🤔

One of the most common things I see in clinic is people treating the painful area, but not the cause.

Your body works as one connected system.
If your hips are stiff, your lower back often works harder to compensate. If your ankles or upper back aren't moving well, that can also change how your back moves and loads.

That's why I always assess above and below the painful joint, not just where it hurts.
Your hips are your foundation. When they move well, your back often doesn't have to work as hard.

Pain isn't always the problem—sometimes it's the body's way of telling you something else needs attention.

Don't just chase the pain. Find the cause.

Massage doesn’t fix your pain…

Controversial? Maybe.
True? Often, yes.

Don’t get me wrong, massage treatment can massively help:

✔️ Reduce pain short-term, Release muscle tension, Improve relaxation and recovery, Make you feel better quickly

But here’s the truth…

If your pain keeps coming back, massage alone usually isn’t enough.

Because pain is often driven by:
🏃 How you move🏋️ How you load your body
🪑 Your daily habits & posture 🔁 Repeated strain patterns

So what works best?
