** Acknowledgment of thanks from the late Brian Drysdale family**

On behalf of our family, we would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended Brian’s funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 21st August to pay their final respects. The overwhelming support shown to our family at this difficult time has been a great comfort to us all. To everyone who has sent cards, messages of sympathy, flowers and kind words of support, thank you.

Our thanks also go to the celebrant, David Simpson, for a heartfelt eulogy, Dean Saunders for piping Brian into the Crematorium grounds and to all the staff and caterers at Kelty & Blairadam Ex-Servicemen’s club for providing a lovely funeral tea.

A special thank you is extended to Nicola and Colin at Colin Sneddon Funeral Directors Ltd. Nicola and Colin went above and beyond to help us through the hardest, most traumatic time following the sudden death of my husband, Brian Drysdale. They gave me and my family so much comfort and support throughout this incredibly difficult time. Their care did not stop as even after the funeral; they went out there way to check in on me and my family. Nicola made me feel at ease while organizing Brian’s funeral and supported me through everything, always making sure I felt cared for and listed to.
I cannot thank Nicola and Colin Sneddon enough, and I would highly recommend them, they have now helped arrange funerals for our family on two occasions, and both occasions they have shown us nothing but kindness, compassion and genuine care during the loss of my dad and my husband.

There was also an opportunity to donate to CHAS in memory of Brian, and a fantastic £272.00 was raised in total. Thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Its not every day I get to use the Harley Davidson for work but today was one of those days giving a fellow biker Gavin "Guy" Sidey the the send off biker style. Thank you to all the bikers that came along from all over and especially from Hub 71 to show their respects and to be part of a very special gentleman's final journey.
