Paul has asked us to share his heartfelt thanks to all who attended the service for the Late Alan Kettles on Tuesday 19th May 2026 at Kirkcaldy Crematorium. Special thanks to Peter Foster and Stuart English for delivering the perfect Eulogy, to Nikki at the Red Petal for the most stunning floral tribute, and to all who kindly donated after the service to STAND where a generous £67.00 was raised in loving memory of Alan.

**Acknowledgement of thanks from the late Alexander (Alex) Nelson family**

On behalf of the family, we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended the celebration of Dad’s life. Being surrounded by so many family members, friends, and neighbours brought immense comfort to us all.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Colin and Nicola at Colin Sneddon Funeral Directors. You have been absolutely amazing from start to finish, guiding us with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism. A personal thank you for arranging Jordan as our driver on the day—it was a wonderful surprise to see such a respected friend.
Our thanks also go to our Celebrant, Denis Madden, for conducting a truly beautiful service that honoured Dad so perfectly.
In addition, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Leven Golfing Society:
To Brian Harkins, for everything you have done, and for creating and displaying a photo album of Dad’s most memorable moments as Captain and committee member. It was a wonderful gesture that meant a lot to us.
To the fantastic catering staff, who ensured we were all so well looked after.
Finally, a special thank you to everyone who generously donated to Cancer Research. Your incredible kindness raised over £700, which will be added to the existing funds and donated in due course.
