As Carers Week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say thank you to every member of the WeKare team.

What you do each day matters more than you will ever know. You support people through some of the most difficult, vulnerable and important moments of their lives. You help people maintain their independence, dignity and connection to the world around them. You don't just provide care- you provide comfort, reassurance, companionship and kindness.
I see the early mornings, the late finishes, the extra miles travelled, the time spent listening, and the countless small acts of compassion that often go unnoticed. The difference you make to our clients and their families is extraordinary.

We are incredibly proud of the team we have built at WeKare. Your professionalism, dedication and genuine care for others are the reasons we are able to do what we do.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you do, not just during Carers Week, but every single day of the year.

This June, the WeKare team are taking on Dementia UK's Walk 60 Miles Challenge.

Dementia affects so many of the families we support every day, and we see first-hand the impact it has not only on the person living with dementia, but on their loved ones too.

Throughout June, we'll be walking 60 miles to help raise money for Dementia UK's Admiral Nurses, who provide specialist advice, support and guidance to families facing dementia.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference to families who need support during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
