We, the family of Peggy Quinn, wish to express our sincere thanks and deepest appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We sincerely thank all who attended the wake and funeral and who watched via the We**am, sent cards and messages of sympathy.

We are especially grateful for everyone who managed to be there in person, share a kind word or provide gestures of support, we all feel a great comfort by our extended family and loving community.

A special thank you to all those who helped out during the wake, provided food and made tea and created a background of support and love.

We also share our grateful thanks to the doctors and healthcare professionals who looked after mum in various ways especially the wonderful staff at Altnagelvin , the attentive carers and nurses at Cornfields Care home, the medical professionals at the Audiology and Rheumatology units and the doctors, nurses and administration team at Roe family practice for many years of unfailing care.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Father Gerry Sweeney for celebrating the uplifting funeral Mass. Thanks also to Father Patrick Doherty for concelabrating the funeral mass. We also thank our close family friend Father Kevin Mulhern for all his visits and support to both mum and dad over the years.

Finally thank you to Seamus and Deborah and all the staff at McLaughlin funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out every aspect of the wake and funeral. Your support and guidance to all the family is very much appreciated.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this as a token of our thanks and appreciation.

The months mind Mass will be held in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven on Sunday 21st June at 11.30am.

Altnagelvin Hospital on the 8th of June 2026. May she rest in peace.

Late of 53 Mullaghmeash Road, Feeny, Co. Derry, BT47 4TF.
Beloved wife of Seamus.
Loving mother of Shaun (Louise), Tanya (Alex), Mark (Leona), Ann (Christopher RIP) and the late baby Kathleen.
Devoted granny of Nuala, Ryan, Kieran, Lily, Shéa, Darragh & Cassie.
Daughter of the late John and Cassie McCloskey RIP and dear sister of Peter (Patricia), and Kathleen (Christopher) and deeply regretted by her sisters in law Margaret and Ann.

Wake commencing on Wednesday 10th of June 12noon. Family time 10pm to 12noon. Funeral on friday 12th of June 2026, leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher.
Eileen will be laid to rest with her late baby daughter Kathleen in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven graveyard.

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Joseph “Joe“ Feeney peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 6th of June 2026, may he rest in peace.

Late of 90 Sheskin Road, Greysteel, Co Derry.
Beloved husband of Ellen.
Loving father of Columba (Martina), Marie (Henry), Noelle (Niall), Sean (Rachel) and Bronagh (Paul). A devoted grandfather and great grandfather.
Son of the late George and Elizabeth RIP and dear brother of Lizzy Mary Lynch and the late Georgina and Bridget RIP.
Very deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

Reposing at his late home on Sunday 7th of June, wake commencing at 2pm.

We, the family of the late Nellie Cartin would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank everyone who came to the wake and attended the funeral, as well as those who brought Mass cards, left messages of sympathy, or supported us in any other way.
We are very grateful to relatives, close friends and neighbours who brought food and helped out in the kitchen.
To everyone who helped with the wake and funeral, including Mena the sacristan, the singers, the grave diggers and all of the catering staff who provided refreshments after the funeral.
Thank you to all the staff at ward 32, Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Nellie.
A special word of thanks to Fr David O'Kane and Fr Noel McDermott for their compassion and spiritual support and to Fr David O'Kane for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass.

Late of the Philippines and formerly of 38 Lackagh Park, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved son of Tiney and Noel and loving brother of Christopher, Paul and Gauvin.
Will be very sadly missed by his partner E.J.

Martin Grieve

“He fought with strength, courage and grace until the very end.”

Philomena, Cassie Rose and Ciaron, together with the entire family circle of the late Martin Grieve, formerly of 24 Sutton Gardens (Waterside) and late of 29 Irwin Crescent (Claudy), wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them during their recent sad bereavement.

Martin passed away suddenly but peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 1st May 2026.

The family would like to sincerely thank all those who called to the house, attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of support, donated to King’s College Hospital, and those who travelled afar to be with them at this difficult time.

A special word of thanks to Dr Rebecca O'Kane and all the staff in Ward 24 at Altnagelvin Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Martin during his illness. Additionally, heartfelt thanks to Dr Gallagher and Partners at Claudy Health Centre for all the care and support shown to Martin over the years. Sincere thanks are also extended to the doctors and staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, the liver support groups, and the community rehab carers for their kindness, support, and dedication throughout Martin’s journey.

Special thanks to McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance, and support to the family throughout this difficult time.
Thanks also to Fr O'Kane who celebrated the beautiful Funeral Mass, and to Joelene Grieve and Martin Kealey for the beautiful music.
The family also wish to express their gratitude to the pupils and staff of St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s College for the touching guard of honour presented in Martin’s memory.
Sincere thanks also to Alison O’Neill and team for providing the lovely tea and refreshments after the funeral.

The family are deeply grateful to neighbours, friends and all who helped in any way throughout the wake and funeral arrangements.

We the family of the late Tessie Gormley wish to thank all of those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. A special word of thanks to all the carers who looked after her with such kindness and professionalism allowing our loved one to remain at home until the end.
Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Claudy Health Centre who made themselves available to her and to us - our family when their support was most needed.
Thanks also to all who called at her wake, attended her funeral, sent messages, Mass cards and gave donations. Likewise those who helped out over her wake and funeral; the sacristan, singers, the grave diggers and the catering staff.
A special word of thanks to Father O’Kane who attended to her spiritual needs whilst she was at home and for celebrating her Requiem Mass.
