Lovely little Mini Cooper for major service
Using genuine oil and top quality FEBI filters and NGK spark plugs

Also customer is unable to lock/unlock the car so we looked into this also

Using out genuine BMW/Mini software we were able to diagnose that the remote receiver is at fault causing the issue

Customer will return for a few items that we found on the service and for us to rectify the remote receiver

BMW X1 2.0D

We recovered this vehicle in for an awful knocking noise coming from the engine 🔨

This vehicle had been recently serviced at another garage but prior to this … the vehicle hadn’t been serviced for a few years 🤦‍♂️

Unfortunately the oil had turned to a “tar like substance “ 🌚

Therefore not lubricating the engine properly and caused bearing failure ! 😨

We looked into the oil filter to check for debris

Confirmed engine bearing failure due to the amount of metal filings found in the filter

A replacement engine required for this vehicle

BMW 220D in for “Drivetrain warning”

We carried out diagnostics using genuine BMW software and found x2 faults

Swirl flap fault
DPF soot count exceeded fault

we narrowed down the main fault to be with the swirl flaps “jammed “ which was also causing the diesel particulate filter “DPF” to not be automatically regenerating

So with a new genuine BMW intake manifold with swirl flaps replaced we could then force a static DPF regeneration ! 💪 💨

Soot count was then less than half of the original count meaning thousands of pounds 💰 were saved for the customer as this vehicle has almost 170k miles on the clock and on the original DPF !

Another happy customer with a 2 year warranty 👌

This BMW 420i suffered a breakdown due to a coolant pipe failing !! 💦

We recovered the vehicle and brought it back to the workshop for diagnosis

Found a plastic coolant pipe had failed which is unfortunately buried under the intake manifold

A new genuine BMW pipe was fitted along with genuine BMW coolant , cooling system bled and checked for any other leaks

Car handed back to the happy customer 😊 🔧

Lovely BMW X5 in for OSR door lock failed

Customer is unable to open the OSR door from the inside or out !!

Luckily we are familiar with this problem !

After gaining access to the inside of the OSR door we were able to “break” the lock free

A genuine BMW door lock assembly fitted with a 2 year warranty and all is well 🔧 🔐

This customer was over the moon with the saving from the main dealer 💰 👍

BMW 1 series recovered in from Folkestone for coolant loss and broke down

After pressure testing the cooling system found a split coolant housing

Replaced with genuine bmw housing and coolant and a 2 year warranty 👨‍🔧

Mini countryman in for an oil leak that had been diagnosed at another garage however they were not confident on carrying out the repair work

This customer contacted us to replace the oil filter housing that they had supplied

All done and cleaned off with fresh fluids

Those who know about these vehicles will know this isn’t an easy job however we completed this with ease 💪

This berlingo van was suffering with awful noises coming from the suspension and squealing brakes … along with unevenly worn tyres

So upon investigation we found both front suspension top mounts had totally failed along with worn out drop links causing the issues

Secondly the front brake pads worn low and scored discs

So we replaced the failed components along with both front tyres then completed front wheel alignment to ensure the vehicle is driving “true” to ensure even wear for the new tyres after the suspension components being replaced

All with 12months warranty

Another regular service …… 🔧

This little Nissan has covered an impressive amount of miles and is still running and driving great !

Off to Scotland this month so we thoroughly inspected the vehicle to ensure a safe journey 👌
