A new customer this one and is becoming regular

Starting off with a major service which reviled a few issues that “another garage” had done.

Poor workmanship from the other garage with leaving bolts and brackets missing from the EGR cooler causing it to snap and leak exhaust gasses 🤦‍♂️

Also found worn suspension components

All rectified and driving great 💪

Another day ….. another clutch job!

Mini Cooper s

Complete 3 piece genuine clutch kit

Old clutch was almost at the end of its life and was very stiff in operation

Now smooth as silk and nice and light on the pedal 💪💪

Again 2 years unlimited mileage warranty on genuine parts

Been a busy week and too busy to be taking pictures 🤦‍♂️

Anyway …… bmw E92 320D had complete genuine timing chains with all related seals, gaskets and bolts along with oil with filter

Common job on these N47 engines but with 160,000 miles it had done well 💪

The old timing chains were rattling 🫣

Now sounding super quiet and running beautifully! 😍

And as always 2 years unlimited mileage warranty with genuine parts

Next on the ramp was this little Citroen DS3

Full timing belt kit with water pump and coolant

These are due at approximately 100k miles or 10 years
This was due being on 98k miles

Also found broken rear coil springs, excessive play in the O/S track rod end along with an insecure cv boot
As always 12 months warranty 👌

All rectified and ready for plenty more miles

Today’s tasks concluded of this ford focus ecoboost in for a 3 piece clutch kit , to say they “had their moneys worth” is an understatement 🤣

All back together and rectified with a comprehensive 12 months warranty

Now the customer can drive the car as it would barely move due to the old clutch being so bad

Having replacement braided brake hoses plus new front brake pipes along with a brake fluid change 🔧

Finished with inner wheel arches fully cleaned and treated with anti corrosion cavity wax and a decent layer of stone chip to prevent any rust or contaminants in the future!

A fantastic example of a BMW 330D F31 having front brake reaction arms replaced due to worn bushes

This sharpens up the steering feel especially under braking and stops the annoying “clonk” when brakes are applied at low speeds.
