Yesterday we wished Happy Birthday to two very special ladies.

Maisie celebrated an incredible 101 years! 🥳 She enjoyed plenty of chocolate treats and some beautiful new nail varnishes - perfect for a good pamper 💅🍫

We also celebrated Lynda's 87th birthday. Lynda is always looking out for everyone around her, checking in to make sure people are okay and offering a helping hand wherever she can.

It was so lovely being able to celebrate with you both and make a fuss of two ladies who bring so much personality and kindness to Invicta Court.

💇‍♀️✨ Happy 5th Long Service Anniversary, Karen! ✨💇‍♀️

Although Karen isn’t officially an Invicta Court employee as she’s self-employed, she has been very much part of our team for the past 5 years — and what a wonderful team member she is! 💕

Over the years, Karen has built amazing relationships with so many residents, becoming a familiar and much-loved face around Invicta Court. She brings warmth, kindness, plenty of lovely chats and, of course, fabulous hair! 😉

Resident Wynn, who is one of Karen’s regular customers, was very happy to present Karen with her 5-year long service certificate and a beautiful bunch of flowers as a small token of our appreciation. 💐🏆

Karen really is a true gem and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our Invicta Court family. 💗

Here’s to many more years of great hair, laughter and friendships! 🥂✂️

We’ve been keeping busy in the garden this week, checking on the progress of our Halloween pumpkins and harvesting some of our home-grown courgettes! 🎃🥒

There’s plenty more still growing, and we’re looking forward to seeing what else the garden produces over the rest of the summer. 🌱

Residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Whitstable yesterday with Weald Heights Care Home, taking a stroll along the promenade and making the most of the fresh sea air.

It was a great opportunity to meet some new faces and enjoy a chat together during the day.

Of course, no trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips! 🐟🍟 A very enjoyable day out for everyone.

Thank you for inviting us Weald Heights Care Home, we had a lovely time.
