☕🛍️ Resident-led Sunday fun! 🥰

On Sunday, Pat wanted to go shopping in Driffield and enjoy a cup of coffee at Roberto’s — and that’s exactly what we did! 🛒☕😊

Our activities and excursions are very much resident-led, giving everyone the opportunity to choose what they’d like to do and where they’d like to go. ❤️

🧁☕ Everything’s better with a cupcake and a cuppa! 💜

We certainly weren’t going to let National Cupcake Day pass us by at Driffield Manor! Our residents enjoyed a little treat, a strong cuppa and, of course, plenty of smiles and chat along the way. 🧁😊

Because sometimes it’s the little things that make the sweetest memories! 💜

Spreading the Love at Love Driffield ❤️📚

We’ve been spreading the love again to our friends at Love Driffield! 💜

We recently dropped off a collection of children’s books at the food bank, and Angela explained that when families come to collect their food, children need somewhere warm and welcoming to sit, read and enjoy the books.

The only problem? They were short of storage! 📚

So, we were delighted to jump in and make a donation towards some much-needed bookshelves. 🥰 Two of our lovely residents were only too happy to present the cheque to the volunteers at Love Driffield.

We hope the new shelves create a lovely little reading space where local children can relax, enjoy a good story and have a little time to escape into the magic of books. ❤️

📸⛪ A lovely day out in Beverley! ⛪📸

On Friday 14th August, we enjoyed a lovely bus trip to Beverley Minster to see the photography and art exhibition.

The exhibition was wonderful, but Beverley Minster itself was absolutely beautiful and such a lovely place to visit. We had a fantastic time taking in the stunning surroundings, enjoying the artwork and spending time together.

🎭 A lovely afternoon at the theatre! 🎭

This afternoon, our theatre group enjoyed a wonderful trip to see Handbagged at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

The staff at the Stephen Joseph Theatre were amazingly accommodating and made us feel so welcome. It was lovely to spend the afternoon together, enjoying a great performance and making some wonderful memories.

Spreading the Love at Love Driffield ❤️

Driffield Manor has been spreading the love at Love Driffield! 💜

Today, Sam and two of our lovely residents delivered pasta and children’s books, kindly donated by our amazing staff, to the local food bank.

We hope the pasta helps provide families with some nutritious, filling meals, while the books bring a little magic and give children a story to treasure. 📚💜

It’s wonderful to see our residents, staff and community coming together to support local families. Every little donation really can make a difference. 🌟
