💉 Flu & COVID Season Is Here!

We'll be sending out clinic invites later next week — keep an eye out for yours.
📅 Saturday 3rd October is our big Flu Clinic day.
We'll also be offering COVID vaccinations on the same day for some patients, but please note:
🔸 This is not a COVID-only clinic — it's Flu, or Flu and COVID together
🔸 COVID numbers on the day are limited
🔸 It's first come, first served
🔸 COVID vaccines on 3rd October are for patients aged 75 and over only

📌 A separate COVID clinic will be announced later in the month for other eligible patients.

A big thank you from all of us 💙

As many of you will be aware, we experienced a significant internet outage throughout Thursday afternoon and Friday, which affected our access to our clinical system.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our patients for your patience, understanding and support during this time.

We would also like to give a massive thank you to our staff, who worked incredibly hard to keep the practice running despite the disruption. Not only were we able to see all patients who already had appointments booked, but the team also managed to deal with around 80% of new patient requests received during the outage.

We are still working through some of the background administrative work that was affected, so please continue to bear with us while we catch up.

Thank you again to everyone for your understanding and to our fantastic team for pulling together when it really mattered. 💙

Most of the GP practices affected by computer system issues on Friday 7 August are now back online.

For the very small number of practices who are still affected, work is underway to resolve issues early Monday morning.

Please contact your GP practice as normal and check your practice website for the latest information. If your appointment is affected, your practice will contact you directly where needed.

Monday is usually a very busy day for GP practices, so please be patient while teams work through any remaining disruption and catch up with patients.

For urgent medical advice you can also use NHS 111 online or call 111. You can also speak to your local pharmacy for advice. For life-threatening emergencies, call 999.

We are still have issues, the system keeps crashing. We are doing the best we can to keep service up and running the best we can

📢⚠️Some GP practices in our region are experiencing issues with their computer systems. The network provider is working to rectify this as soon as possible. GP Practices will contact patients directly where necessary.

Check your GP practice website for more information. For urgent medical advice or urgent prescriptions, you can contact NHS111 online or by phone.

Please consider other services such as your pharmacy. Remember you can use the NHS app to get information about test results and order repeat prescriptions. For anything life-threatening, call 999.

Our internet connection is currently unavailable due to a national NHS outage affecting services at NHS England and NHS digital level.

As a result, we currently have limited or no access to some of our clinical and administrative systems.

We are continuing to do everything we can to see patients and manage requests safely while the outage is ongoing. Please only contact the practice by telephone if your request is urgent, as our ability to process routine requests may be affected.

UPDATE - the water supply is now back!

Unfortunately, we are currently without a water supply due to circumstances outside of our control.

At present, we do not have an estimated time for when the water supply will be restored. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as soon as we receive further information.

Please be aware that this may affect some services and appointments. If your appointment is impacted, a member of the team will contact you directly.
