REMINDER TO CHECK MEDICATION 💊

In the care sector we understand the importance of checking medication to ensure no mistakes are made. It's incredibly important to take your time with medication calls, whether your tending to a new service user or someone you've assisted before.

You should always check the following:
⭐ Is it the correct medicine?
⭐ Is it the correct dosage?
⭐ Is it in date?
⭐ Is it safe to take with other medication?
⭐ Has it been stored in an appropriate place?
⭐ Does the service user have enough stocked up?

The CWC's National Sports Day for Care 🏅

Our incredible team at Lawson House in Newcastle put together an amazing day full of activities for The Care Workers' Charity's National Sports Day for Care!

With a variety of different tasks and challenges, we split into two teams, the red team and the blue team. We truly got to see the competitive sides of some of our staff and service users. There may have been a few friendly disputes along the way, but it was all smiles in the end.

It was a very close call by only 1 point between them however... the Red Team were victorious! ❤️

Congratulations to the Red Team on your victory and thank you all for playing. Our staff at Lawson truly have a talent for setting up events like this one and we couldn't be more grateful!
