📢 Important information about the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon)

The contraceptive implant is now licensed for up to 5 years in the UK, following evidence showing it remains safe and effective for longer use.

This gives patients more flexibility when considering their contraceptive options and may help reduce unnecessary appointments for replacement implants.

If you currently have a Nexplanon implant and would like further advice, please contact the surgery.
