It is with great sadness that the family announce that Christine passed away peacefully after a short illness in Bassetlaw Hospital on 25th August 2026 aged 86 years. Treasured Wife of the late David.
Devoted Mum of Daran and the late Kevin.
Loving Nan to Christopher, Carl, Sean, Daniel, Jordan, Luke and Charlotte. Much loved Sister, Aunt, Cousin and a good friend of many.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The Funeral Service will take place at
Hallcroft Methodist Chapel on Thursday 17th September 2026 at 1.00pm followed by a burial in Retford Cemetery. Family flowers only please but donations if desired in memory of Christine will be divided between Bassetlaw Hospice and
Hallcroft Methodist Chapel.

Passed away peacefully on 21st July 2026
aged 74 years.
Jane was born in Retford and lived in Hallcroft until the age of 16 to pursue her dancing career in Paris and Monaco. The last 46 years were spent in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
Jane’s parents were Ron and Doreen Marshall, sisters Sally and Anne.
Jane had a wonderful life with her husband, 5 sons and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral service will take place in Whitehaven on Wednesday 5th August.
Jane will be missed deeply by all her family and friends.
