At the weekend, we said a very bittersweet goodbye to our lovely Jess as she leaves Century House after an incredible 10 years with us! 💛

Thankfully, she’s not going too far! Jess is staying within the company and is moving on to another house to take on her new role as Senior Support Worker.

Over the last 10 years, Jess has been such a part of Century House. She is an amazing support worker, a brilliant colleague and someone who genuinely cares about the people we support. Her kindness, dedication and experience will be hugely missed by everyone here.

We know she is going to absolutely smash her new role and be an amazing Senior Support Worker. Their gain is definitely our loss! 🥹❤️

We are all so proud of you and wish you nothing but the very best in your new role.

🌟 Next Week’s Activities! 🌟

We’ve got another fun filled week planned for the people we support.

From a trip to Southport and a cinema visit, to lunch and food shopping, Whitby Park for an ice cream and feeding the ducks, and a visit to the Boat Museum for coffee – there’s plenty to look forward to! 🏖️🎬🍦🦆☕️

And of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunities throughout the week for social inclusion, a good chat, and a cup of tea and biscuits. ☕️🍪

Supporting choice, independence and meaningful engagement within our community is such an important part of what we do. 💚

We’re grateful to have received this lovely thank you card from one of the new people we support. Knowing that someone feels welcomed, encouraged and supported enough to step outside of their comfort zone is exactly why we’re passionate about what we do.
