Some of the Falmouth CFRs joined a JESIP scenario at Falmouth Leisure Centre, along with Coastguards, Search and Rescue, RNLI Lifeguards etc. We demonstrated the kit we carry, from AEDs to stretchers and worked as joint teams.
JESIP stands for Joint Emergency Service Interoperability Program.
A fascinating evening with a lot learned about other groups and how to improve working at a major incident.
