The international convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers (STCW) sets the international legal minimum standards for those working at sea. It ensures that a mariner meets a set of specific safety requirements. We are the only provider in Cornwall who can offer all the MCA STCW elements required for the complete Basic STCW who operate all the courses locally in Cornwall. This is the minimum requirement for any seafarer working within a commercial role must carry for employment.
