💜 Support Spotlight: Janine 💜

This year, Janine Carbine is taking on the Windermere Marathon to celebrate her 40th birthday. It's the biggest running challenge she's ever attempted, covering double the distance of any race she's completed before and tackling more than 600 metres of elevation around the stunning Lake Windermere.

While the marathon was already planned, choosing a charity became deeply personal after the loss of her beloved stepmum to cancer in December.

Janine has chosen to support WHY because she knows how important it is for people affected by cancer to have somewhere to turn. WHY provides free counselling and emotional support to cancer patients, their families and loved ones across Somerset and the surrounding areas.

Janine knows there will be tough moments, tears and times when she questions whether she can make it to the finish line. But she is determined to make every mile count.

We’re sorry to share that this Saturday’s Frome Carnival Family Funday and Dog Show has been postponed. The good news is it will now take place on 15th August, we hope to see you there!

Hello everyone Fun day is postponed until 15th August as it was a joint decision with town council with the wet conditions

Our wonderful colour run held at the end of term 4 raised over £600 for We Hear You.
