A couple of weeks ago Neill delivered a Fire Warden course at our Office Building in Glasgow 🔥

Our fire warden/fire marshal training sessions are ideal for those tho will be undertaking this role, as well as those required to have an understanding of fire safety in the workplace. They cover :

- Fire science – How fires start and spread
- The cost of fire to industry
- The law – The responsibilities of the employer and management team
- Fire doors and escape routes
- The responsibilities of a Fire Warden
- Preventing, detecting and fighting fire
- Fire evacuation drills and training

A huge congrats to Lauren our Training Manger and her partner Jack who have raised £375 completing Jog 28 miles in February Challenge for the Mental Health Foundation. Amalgamate have kindly doubled this donation.

The Mental Health Foundation is a UK-based charity focused on preventing mental health problems by tackling their root causes. They research solutions, run community programmes, and advocate for policy change to improve mental health for all.

Sadly, we all know someone affected by poor mental health. The number of people around us with poor mental health is rising. 74% of people feel so stressed they have been overwhelmed or unable to cope. Tragically, this results in 14 people dying by su***de in the UK every day.

As a company that offers First Aid training for Mental Health we always want to do our best to raise awareness in mental health and are happy to support The Mental Health Foundation in the works that they do 💚

Today is World Mental Health Day!

As a company that offers First Aid training for Mental Health, we always want to promote positive attitudes in the workplace and beyond.

A simple conversation can make a huge difference to someone who’s struggling with their mental health. It’s all about showing you care.
Why not check in with a friend, colleague or family member this , and show someone that their mental health matters.

Lauren and Fiona took part in the Dawn Walk this morning and walked 5k at sunrise. This event is to raise awareness of Samaritans, in celebration of World Mental Health day, in solidarity with those struggling to cope.

Last week two of our trainers Neill and Lauren were out training in North Ayrshire delivering an Emergency First Aid at Work course.

This course equips staff with the skills to save lives, provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses and promote a safer workplace 😀

On Saturday Fiona and Lauren delivered an emergency paediatric first aid course in Ayrshire to a group of Childminders and Early year practitioners.
