✨A big shout‑out to our IPC nurse Vicki, who has been the driving force behind our Silver ANTT Accreditation submission ✨

We’re proud to share that this builds on our success from March 2026, when we achieved Bronze ANTT Accreditation — a milestone that reflected our commitment to safe, standardised aseptic practice across our services.

Over the past year, Vicki and her fellow ANTT trainers, Diane, Sarah, Mel and Will have continued to lead the way, supporting teams with ANTT training, hands‑on competency assessments, and the completion of all required audits.

But this work isn’t just about accreditation. It’s about protecting our patients.
Strong infection prevention and control practices are essential in every healthcare setting. They reduce the risk of avoidable infections, support safer procedures, shorten recovery times, and improve patient outcomes. Every audit completed, every competency assessed, and every member of staff trained in ANTT contributes directly to safer care.

Preventing infections means:
