After more than 30 years at Challenge Packaging, Ben Turton has achieved an incredible amount throughout his career and continues to be a huge part of our story.

From working on some of our most memorable projects, including the famous Lindt Advent Calendar, to contributing to multiple award-winning packaging projects, Ben’s creativity, expertise and dedication have left a lasting mark on Challenge.

30+ years brings an enormous amount of knowledge, countless projects and more than a few stories along the way! 😄

A New Chapter at Challenge Packaging 👋📦

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Mark McCleery as the new Managing Director of Challenge Packaging.

Mark brings an impressive wealth of experience to the role, having spent 18 years in the corrugated packaging sector across senior commercial, operational and leadership positions with businesses including Mondi Packaging, Saica and St Ives Group.

Returning to the corrugated industry, Mark has been particularly impressed by the professionalism, commitment and customer focus of the Challenge Packaging team. His focus will be on building on the company’s strong heritage and continuing to deliver sustainable, profitable growth through exceptional customer service, reliability and continuous improvement.

But as we welcome Mark, we also want to take a moment to recognise and thank Martin Coppard, who will officially retire at the end of this year.

Martin has played a hugely important role in the development and success of Challenge Packaging, providing leadership, experience and guidance to the business and its people. His contribution has helped shape the company we are today, strengthening our reputation for quality, reliability and outstanding customer service.

Over the years, Martin has been a familiar and trusted figure for both our customers and our team, and his knowledge of the business and the industry has been invaluable.

While Martin is stepping away from his role as Managing Director, we’re pleased that he will remain with the Logson Group during the transition period, helping ensure a smooth handover and supporting the business as we move into this next chapter.

A huge thank you, Martin, for your leadership, dedication and everything you have contributed to Challenge Packaging. 👏

And a very warm welcome to Mark. We’re excited for the future and look forward to building on everything that has come before.
