It's with deep sadness that the team at Angelcare Funeral Services announce the passing of the late Mr Stephen Walker from Mixenden a service to celebrate his life will be held at Park wood crematorium on Friday 4th September at 12.00 will family and friends please meet at the crematorium.

There are moments in this job that stop you in your tracks. 🖤

Today I was stood outside Park Wood Crematorium, waiting for the hearse and limousines to arrive. People were chatting away, as you naturally do while waiting…

Then, all of a sudden, everything went silent.

Not a word.

The hearse arrived carrying Pam on her final journey, and in that moment, the whole atmosphere changed. It was incredibly powerful.

It reminded me just how much we can take life for granted. We get caught up in our busy lives, our plans, our worries and everything in between — but moments like this remind us to pause, appreciate the people we love and never take a single day for granted.

The presence of a hearse has a way of making everyone stop and reflect. ❤️

Thank you to Craig at Angelcare Funeral Services for requesting me once again to look after another family. It is a privilege I never take for granted.

It's with deep sadness that the team at Angelcare Funeral Services announce the sad passing of Mr Peter Morley who was a highly respected teacher at Holy Trinity Church of England senior school and he had the pleasure of teaching thousands of children during his career at Holy Trinity.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Park wood crematorium on Friday 17th July 2026 @ 11.15 am , At the families request can bright colours be worn
