No filter. No fancy salon. Just an NHS Anaesthetic practitioner who knows what she's doing. (Excuse the typo, just shows I’m human!)

This is me. Scrubs, no makeup, between shifts. Not exactly Instagram-ready, but that's kind of the point.

I don't post glamorous content because that's not who I am. I'm an NHS anaesthetic practitioner, I spend my days looking after real patients in real clinical settings. Patient safety isn't a hashtag to me, it's the job.

I got into aesthetics because I wanted to help women feel like themselves again, using the same clinical knowledge, the same careful hands, and the same duty of care I bring to the NHS every single shift.

I don't know TikTok trends. I don't inject because it's a fad. What I do know is anatomy, emergency protocols, and how to give you a natural result that doesn't change who you are, just helps you feel more like her again.

If you're looking for a glitzy clinic with fancy lighting and a full social media team, I'm probably not your person.

If you're looking for an honest, medically trained nurse who will tell you the truth, treat you safely, and genuinely care about how you feel, then I absolutely am.

I'm going to say what every medically trained injector is thinking.

A weekend course does not make someone safe to inject your face.

I know that's a bold statement. But after 10+ years working as an NHS nurse, treating real patients, managing real emergencies, understanding anatomy at a clinical level every single day. I feel a responsibility to say it.

Here's what your injector should have:

A medical background in nursing, medicine or dentistry.
A thorough understanding of facial anatomy.
The ability to recognise and manage complications.
Emergency medication on hand.
Active clinical practice, not just aesthetics.

These are not luxuries. They are the baseline of safe practice.

I'm not saying this to attack anyone. I'm saying it because women deserve to know what questions to ask before they let someone near their face with a needle.

So before you book anywhere, ask them where they trained. Ask what happens if something goes wrong. Ask if they carry emergency medication.

A practitioner who is properly trained will never be offended by those questions. They will be glad you asked.

I am an NHS nurse. I treat patients every week. My clinical background doesn't stop at the clinic door, it comes with me into every single treatment.
