💗 Why Zing?

I’ve been teaching Pilates for 10+ years and have specialist training in women’s health, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, third age and menopause. I’m also a trained coach, bringing a whole-person approach to the way I teach and support women.

So these aren’t just Pilates classes with a few women’s-health exercises thrown in. Women’s health is at the heart of what I teach.

My classes are beginner friendly and designed to help you move and strengthen safely, whether you’re navigating pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse, diastasis recti, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, perimenopause or menopause — or simply want to feel stronger, more mobile and more connected to your body.

We combine core function, functional movement and strengthening with breath, release and work to nourish your nervous system.

And your support doesn’t stop when you leave class…

✨ Pregnancy & postnatal clients get specialist online content including classes, exercises, meditations, guest speakers and recipes.

✨ Everyone else gets access to the Zing Members’ Area, with 30+ hours of women’s health-focused Pilates, breathwork and relaxation.

“If our brains were simple enough for us to understand them, we’d be so simple that we couldn’t.” — Ian Stewart

🧠 I loved completing this neuroscience & coaching CPD at the start of the summer, exploring how understanding the brain can help us create more effective, compassionate and sustainable change through coaching.

Some of the nuggets I loved:

🧠 A hungry, ever-wiring brain works best when it’s well-fed and well-rested.

🧠 Repeated practice is what helps new habits stick.

🧠 We strengthen the connections we use and lose the ones we don’t — so practice really does matter.

🧠 We’re born with our brain cells, but not all the wiring. Our brains continue to change throughout our lives.

🧠 Stress changes the way our brain communicates — which can make it much harder to think clearly, regulate emotions and make good decisions.

🧠 And for a healthy mind, we need more than just positive thinking: sleep, social connection, physical activity, nutrition, play and downtime all matter.

It’s given me even more tools to bring into my coaching work with women who feel stuck, overwhelmed or ready for something to change.

Because lasting change isn’t about simply trying harder. It’s about understanding yourself, your brain and what you need to thrive. 🧠✨

If you’re ready to make some changes but aren’t quite sure where to start, my wellbeing coaching offering could be for you.

Please do book a free discovery call if you have any questions 💕

☀️ POSTNATAL PILATES — NEW DROP-IN OPTION! 💛

For my September/October block, I’m trialling something new…

✨ 9.30am Postnatal Pilates — drop-in classes ✨

Rather than committing to a whole block, you can now book individual classes as you go, giving you a little more flexibility around those unpredictable early days with a baby!

Classes start Wednesday 9th September at 9.30am.

💛 Or, if you’re ready for a little more structure…

I still have a few spaces available on my 10.45am Postnatal Pilates & Wellbeing course — a supportive course designed specifically for new mums, with the opportunity to connect, move and look after you while your baby is right there with you.

🌸 Both classes are designed for you to bring your baby.

You can join from 6 weeks postnatal until your baby is crawling.

Whether you’re looking for the flexibility of a drop-in class or the connection and structure of a course, I’d love to welcome you. 💛

These classes are about so much more than Pilates. They’re designed to help you feel stronger, more comfortable and more confident throughout pregnancy, while giving you the opportunity to start building that all-important village of support around you. ❤️

• Expert interviews covering women’s health, nutrition, sleep and postnatal care

I’m a women’s health Pilates teacher and hypnobirthing practitioner, with specialist training in pelvic floor dysfunction and diastasis recti. I’m passionate about helping women feel confident in their changing bodies and keeping those common pregnancy aches and pains at bay.

And I’m not just a teacher—I’m a mum of three who has experienced a medicalised birth, a non-medicalised birth and a home birth. I know that every pregnancy and birth is different, and sometimes having the right support around you can make such a difference.

I also have a wonderful village of trusted professionals I can connect you with if you need additional support during pregnancy, birth or beyond.

🌸 Sep/Oct block starts Wednesday 9th September at 6.30pm.

If you’re pregnant and would love to join us, send me a message or comment below and I’ll send you the details. ❤️

I’d love to see you on the mat. 🌸

The pelvic floor loves whole-body movement. 🩷

One of the things that surprises many of my clients is that unless they’ve been specifically prescribed pelvic floor contractions by a women’s health physio or Mummy MOT practitioner, I don’t spend our sessions telling them to “do their Kegels”.

Why?

Because your pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation.

It’s part of a whole system — connected to your breath, your core, your gluts, your spine and even the way your feet meet the ground.

So instead, I teach women how to move with pelvic floor awareness.

And one of the best exercises I recommend?

Walking. 🚶‍♀️

Notice your heel hitting the ground.
Feel the movement through your foot.
Let your body move naturally.
Breathe calmly.
Stand tall.
And, if you can, enjoy what’s around you

As well as being pelvic floor friendly it is a nervous system reset too!

My second favourite?

Sit to stand.

Something you probably do several times a day anyway.

When you learn how to coordinate your breath, core and pelvic floor as you move, everyday movement becomes part of your exercise.

Because pelvic floor health isn’t always about rolling out a mat and doing a set of exercises.

Sometimes it’s simply about how you move through your day. 🌿

And that’s the approach I love teaching: helping women understand their bodies rather than constantly feeling they need to “fix” them.

Your pelvic floor is part of your whole body. Treat it that way. ❤️

And if you are interested in learning more come and join my pregnancy, postnatal or every woman classes. I’d love to welcome you 💜. Your pelvic floor will thank you 🙏.

I didn’t expect motherhood to feel like this.

I won’t lie. My transition to motherhood was hard.

My pregnancy had been complicated from the moment i was told i would miscarry, to seeing the heartbeat 2 weeks later, my waters broke early and my baby spent five days in NICU. Then came reflux, tongue tie, breastfeeding challenges and concerns about weight gain.

There was so much feeding, pumping, worrying and trying to work out what my baby needed.

And somewhere amongst all of that, I realised something…

I had spent so much time preparing for pregnancy and birth, and so little preparing for life after birth.

I didn’t know enough about how my own body would heal. I didn’t have a village around me. And by the time I realised I needed support for my pelvic floor, my wellbeing and me, I was completely exhausted.

There was so much love and joy — but also exhaustion and loneliness.

And that is my why. ❤️

I created my Postnatal Pilates & Wellbeing course because I want mums to have the support I wish I’d had.

A place to gently rebuild strength, support your pelvic floor and core, reconnect with your body, meet other mums and build your village — with access to interviews with professionals who can help you along the way.

Because looking after yourself after birth isn’t a luxury.

You deserve care too.

My next course starts Wednesday 9th September and is suitable from around 6 weeks postnatal until baby is crawling.

Six weeks of Pilates, wellbeing, support and community.

🧠 Coaching & Neuroscience Takeaway #1

This week I completed my Coaching & Neuroscience CPD with The Coaching Academy, and over the next few weeks I thought I’d share some of the insights that really made me stop and think.

This one really resonated with me…

We keep the neural connections we use and lose the ones we don’t.

We’re born with almost all the brain cells we’ll ever have, but it’s our experiences, habits and repeated actions that strengthen the pathways between them.

That’s why coaching isn’t just about what happens during our sessions together.

✨ It’s what you practise between sessions that creates lasting change.

Every time you challenge an old belief, choose a different response, or take one small courageous action, you’re reinforcing new neural pathways.

This is why phrases like “fake it until you make it” or “believe you can” have more truth behind them than you might think. Repeated thoughts and behaviours literally help reshape the brain.

Change doesn’t happen because you understand something.

It happens because you practise it.

If you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, know this: your brain is capable of change at any age. Sometimes all you need is the right support, accountability and tools to help create new habits that stick.

💛 What’s one small habit or mindset shift you’re practising this week?
