WEGOVY WEIGHT LOSS MEDICATION

We are aware following recent media reports, that the new Wegovy weight loss pill has been approved for private use in UK. This medication has not yet been approved by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) for NHS use and we are therefore unable to prescribe it.

Please do not book appointments solely to request this medication, as our clinicians are unable to prescribe it at this time.

However, we are able to offer a weight management programme referral, if your BMI is 30 or above. If you are interested, please submit an update to date height and weight reading via our website, stating you would like to be referred.

MAY BANK HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS 🏖️

Please note, The Elms Practice will be closed on Monday, May 4th for the May Bank Holiday.

The Practice will re-open as normal on Tuesday, May 5th at 8am.

If you require repeat medication to cover the Bank Holiday period, please ensure we have received your request by the close of play on Wednesday, April 29th as we do require 48 hours to process your request.
