📞 Telephone System Update 📢

We’re pleased to let you know that we’ve made some improvements to our telephone system to help make contacting the practice quicker and easier.

Some of the changes include:
✅ A simpler phone menu to help direct your call to the right team.
✅ Signposting to services such as PATCHS and Pharmacy First, helping you access the right care more quickly.
✅ Estimated call waiting times are now available on our website.
✅ Our call-back option is still available if you don’t want to wait on hold.

🎵 Thank you to everyone who voted for our new hold music! We’ll be revealing the winning choice very soon, so listen out next time you call.

As always, we’re continuing to look for ways to improve our services and appreciate your feedback and support.

Whether you have a medical query, need advice, or want to request a fit note or medication, PATCHS is a quick and convenient way to get in touch.

We’ve put together the simple guide below to help you access PATCHS through either the NHS App or our practice website.

If you’re using PATCHS for the first time, you’ll just need to create an account.

If you need any help getting started, our reception team will be happy to assist you.

We are absolutely over the moon at the Practice as we have improved our ratings in every single area this year. We are also above the local and national average for each area 🥳

Some of the key areas are:
💬 98% felt listened to during their last appointment
👍 97% found the patients needs were met
🩺 96% had confidence and trust in their healthcare professional
☎️ 95% found our reception & administrative team helpful
🌟 93% overall good experience

🤝 Colne Valley Group Practice is part of The Valleys Primary Care Network (six practices across the Holme and Colne Valley) and we are THE HIGHEST SCORING PCN ACROSS WEST YORKSHIRE for the 3rd year running! 🌟

We understand that accessing healthcare can sometimes be frustrating, and we appreciate that many of our patients may be worried, unwell or anxious.

Our team is here to help and will always do their best to support you. However, we ask that everyone treats our staff with kindness and respect.

Abusive, offensive, threatening or aggressive behaviour towards any member of our team will not be tolerated.. Our staff deserve to work in a safe respectful environment, just as our patients deserve to receive care in one.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the sons and daughters who are deeply loved and never forgotten.

To every bereaved parent, whether your loss was recent or many years ago, we recognise that grief has no timeline. The love you have for your son or daughter never fades, and neither does their place in your heart.
