🤔 What is a craft cafe? Updating the fest video I put out when I opened nearly 4 months ago to help answer some questions as to what you can do here at nook!

☕️ Daily craft sessions with a cuppa
🤓 Classes and workshops available
📓 Hire space available for tutors and groups
🥳 Parties, celebrations and group bookings welcome

Most importantly, everyone is welcome 🤗🌈✨ this is a safe space for people to come solo, or with friends, family or colleagues. Minimum age 10.

There’s something very underrated about sitting around a table with a bunch of people, making something with your hands, having a proper chat and forgetting to check your phone for a couple of hours.

That’s Nook.

A creative space in Inverness for craft workshops, social sessions, creative nights, making things, meeting people and generally giving yourself an excuse to do something a little different.

⚠️ Warning, a few cheeky swears included! But for good reason 🤐

Who fancies rage painting their frustrations away? It was SO therapeutic and fun! We all need a moment to let out the internal rage and this really helped and gave me a cheeky nod to the fact that I knew what was behind the creation! …. I may even post it to the people that made me rage as a gift 😂

Come join me on Monday 31st August at 6pm to rage paint together! It’s going to be FUN!! 🥳🤓 (and cathartic) 😤😮‍💨♥️

Creativity IS NOT a talent …. It’s an ability to play! 👌 Well said Mr Cleese 👏 Take a listen to this as I think it’s absolutely spot on! Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped playing.

We started believing creativity belonged to “artistic people”.

But creativity isn’t about perfection.
It’s about curiosity.
It’s about saying “what if?”
It’s about making time to explore.

Maybe that’s why crafting feels so good.
Maybe we’re just giving ourselves permission to play again.
