(as an added bonus patients can see the date your item was last issued and the quantity provided)

📢 Important Update for Nexplanon Users

We would like to inform our patients that the Nexplanon contraceptive implant is now licensed for use for up to 5 years, rather than the previous 3-year licence period.

If you currently have a Nexplanon implant fitted, you may not need a replacement as soon as previously advised.

Our practice will be reviewing records and contacting affected patients individually with further information where appropriate. There is no need to contact the practice unless you have concerns or are experiencing problems with your implant.

For any questions about your contraception, please speak to a member of our clinical team.

Self Check In now available for appointments with the practice staff ( GPs, practice nurses and health care assistants).

This is located to the right of the main entrance and from early next week the QR code will be available to scan in the waiting room if you prefer to use your mobile phone

NB please note if your appointment is with any other service provider eg wound care, physio, phlebotomy, mental health staff please attend reception to check in.

We are currently experiencing IT issues with AMGP, IT are working to correct this and it should be working later today. If you need to contact the GP for an acute appointment please call 01577 862112 however if your reason for contact is routine appointment or query we request that you await AMGP being available later today.

**EASTER PUBLIC HOLIDAY CLOSURES**
The practices will be closed on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April 2026 for the public holidays.
Should you require assistance during this time, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
Please note that CTAC appointments (Wound Care, Phlebotomy and Chronic Disease Review appointments ) will go ahead as scheduled Friday 3rd April with signage available to direct patients to B for access to prebooked appointments
