When Arla Foods Stourton Dairy came to us, they had a real problem. Their first aiders had been trained elsewhere, but left feeling unconfident and ill-equipped to handle a real emergency. When a genuine incident occurred, the health and safety team knew their staff simply wouldn't cope.
They approached Livius Training to turn things around.
We designed a bespoke two-stage programme:
✅ A one-day intensive refresher to rebuild foundational skills and restore confidence in every first aider
✅ Unannounced, realistic scenario testing — first aiders were called to live simulated incidents without warning to prove the training had genuinely worked
The results spoke for themselves. First aiders responded calmly, confidently, and correctly. Impressed with the outcome, Arla immediately booked further training to qualify 8 brand new first aiders across the site.
