Funeral service at Glynn Valley Crematorium, Bodmin, on Tuesday 2nd June at 10:30am.

As part of the ongoing, national campaign from SAIF independent funeral directors, the Tricker family felt the importance of sharing their experience with a well-known online cremation provider, and the huge difference it made to them as a family after contacting a local, independent funeral director.

Mr Tricker would not have been able to say goodbye to his Father if they had let the online cremation service go ahead with the plan he had in place.

Fortunately, Mrs Tricker intervened and began asking questions. A local SAIF funeral director gave her the warmth and respect their family deserved, as well as giving them the chance to come and see their loved one in their chapel of rest, before the unattended cremation took place.

With online direct cremation providers, their prices are often hidden and require your contact information to find out (then come the sales pitch e-mails and phone calls), or they appear low to entice you in, then increase with hidden fees.

With local, independent funeral directors, their prices are visible and transparent without having to share any of your personal details. The two options we offer are:

💫 Direct Cremation - This is an unattended cremation.

💫 Simple Cremation - This allows for up to 15 mourners to attend a 10 minute committal service at 09:00am.

Additional fees could apply for reasons such as:

⚰️ Choosing a different coffin to the one included.
⚱️ Choosing a particular ashes casket, urn or scatter tube.
💐 Floral tributes.
💍 Memorial jewellery and/or various other keepsakes.
🎩 Funeral Director providing pallbearers (for Simple Cremation).
🚗 Limousine/s (for Simple Cremation).
📰 Newspaper announcements.
🚐 Conveying your loved one into our care from outside the local area (15 mile radius).
