Big win today for this client with all tests.
This snapshot shows how the injured limb is now equal to the uninjured side

This data is much better than relying on subjective "it feels better "

Having repeated data and clear benchmarks allows us to progress clients through phases of rehab rather than guessing

Want to take the guesswork out of injury rehab?

VALD testing changes the game by measuring exactly how your body moves, and exerts force.
Instead of guessing if a muscle is weak, we get real-time, objective data.

Here is how VALD testing helps to accelerate your recovery:
Pinpoints Weaknesses: Identifies hidden strength imbalances between your left and right sides.
Targets Training: Shows exactly which muscles need isolation or power development.
Tracks Progress: Compares your current metrics against your baseline data over time.
Prevents Re-injury: Ensures you meet safe performance markers before returning to sport.

Stop guessing. Start measuring.

This visible shaking isn’t muscle fatigue, it’s a protective response from the nervous system.
When you place the body in an unfamiliar or perceived high-risk position your brain flags it as a threat.

The somatosensory system constantly monitors joint angles and muscle tension.

The nervous systems rapidly changes motor units on and off.

Because this is a neurological issue passively treatment’s such as muscle scraping and massage won’t fix this. They can not teach your nervous system to tolerate positions or how to manage motor-units under load.

You need to teach your nervous system that it is safe.

Is the Countermovement Jump (CMJ) on your Return-to-Run checklist?

If you are only testing isolated muscle strength before clearing an athlete to run, you are missing half the picture.
Running isn’t just about strength; it is about elasticity.
Here is why the CMJ is a game-changer for return-to-run testing:
Running relies on the Stretch-Shortening Cycle (SSC). The CMJ tests how well the lower body absorbs braking forces and explodes into propulsion.
Performed on force plates, a CMJ uncovers hidden asymmetries. It shows if an athlete is secretly shifting weight away from their injured side.
It measures central nervous system fatigue, ensuring the body is actually ready for the high-impact stress of hitting the pavement.
