Lisburn has incredible businesses, incredible people and huge potential.

But too often we are watching good businesses struggle, units sit empty and people leave the city to find the services and experiences they should be able to access here.

It is time to do things differently.

The Arzen Collective was built right here in Lisburn at 13B Antrim Street, BT28 1AU.

We now have 23 practitioners rotating through clinic every week, across a wide range of modalities and specialisms, all built around one idea:

Collaboration works.

Rather than treating people as isolated symptoms, we design pathways around the individual.

And I believe Lisburn needs that same connected thinking.

Businesses supporting businesses.
Empty spaces given new purpose.
Health, wellbeing, retail, innovation and community working together.

That is why Connected Health at Bow Street Mall on 17 October matters.

This is about putting Lisburn at the heart of a bigger conversation around better healthcare, stronger local business and real regeneration.

I know what it feels like to need a different way forward. I have been paralysed from the waist down and experiencing 11+ seizures a day. I found my way forward by connecting my own dots.

People deserve more.
And Lisburn deserves more too.

A collective isn’t created by putting different practitioners in the same building.

You can have brilliant people, different disciplines and a long list of services — and still have everyone working alone.

For us, the difference is what happens between those practitioners.

It’s the moment someone says,
“I think another perspective would help here.”

It’s cross-referral.
It’s communication.
It’s knowing where your own expertise ends — and where someone else’s may need to begin.

That is what we are building at The Arzen Collective.

Not one practitioner trying to be everything.
Not isolated appointments that never connect.
Different expertise. Shared perspective. Connected care.

The building isn’t the model.
The connection is.

Sometimes, the right conversation can change the direction of someone’s entire life.

This is Janice’s story. ❤️

At 57, after a lifetime of feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed and as though something just didn’t quite make sense, Janice came through the doors of The Arzen Collective.

What began with a kinesiology appointment and a conversation became the start of a completely different journey.

A brief ADHD screening led to a referral to Dr Hannah Cullen, a full assessment and, ultimately, a diagnosis of severe combined ADHD.

For Janice, that diagnosis brought grief, anger and sadness — but also an enormous sense of relief.

Decades of masking. Decades of questioning herself. Decades of trying to cope without understanding why things felt so difficult.

Finally, there was an answer.

Janice has now taken the next step in her journey, receiving further medical support from Dr Junaid and beginning medication. Alongside this, she continues to build the strategies, understanding and support she needs around her.

But perhaps the most powerful part of her story is this:

“My name is Janice Johnston. I am 57 years old. I have severe combined ADHD. And I am proudly neurodivergent.”

This is why The Arzen Collective exists.

Not to look at one symptom in isolation, but to listen to the whole person. To recognise when something might have been missed. To connect people with the right expertise. And to walk beside them as they find their way forward.

Thank you, Janice, for trusting us with your story and for allowing us to share it.

And thank you to Geraldine, Dr Hannah Cullen and Dr Junaid for the part each of you has played in Janice’s journey.

If you have spent years feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, different, or wondering whether neurodivergence could be part of your story, please know that it is never too late to start asking questions.

You shouldn’t need to know what treatment you need before you ask for help.

That’s one of the biggest things we want people to understand about Arzen.

You might know that you’re struggling.

You might be dealing with pain, stress, overwhelm, hormonal changes, fatigue, emotional pressure, or a combination of things that doesn’t fit neatly into one box.

And then you look at all the options…

Physio. Counselling. Nutrition. Kinesiology. Tapping. Women’s health. Reflexology. Hypnotherapy.

And think:

Where on earth do I start?

At The Arzen Collective, you can start with a conversation.

Our Wellness Introduction is designed to help us understand the wider picture, explore what may be contributing to what you’re experiencing, and help identify the right direction for you.

That might mean one practitioner.

It might mean a combination of support.

And as your needs change, your Pathway can change too.

You don’t need to arrive with the answer.

You just need somewhere to begin.

Start with the problem. Not the treatment.

Start with clarity.

CONNECTED HEALTH
By The Arzen Collective
17th October 2026 | Bow Street Mall

Applications are now open for Connected Health by The Arzen Collective — and we want to hear from people and organisations across the whole health and wellbeing landscape.

We welcome applications from wellness practitioners, medical specialists, health and wellness technology providers, retailers, charities, social enterprises, community organisations and more.

This event is not about putting different sectors in the same room and leaving them there.

It is about creating a new way forward for health.

A way where we stop working in isolation.

Where medical, holistic, community and innovative approaches can stand beside one another.

Where we can have open, honest discussions on stage about the gaps in health and care — and how we can start to fill them. Together.

Where expertise is shared.
Where connections are made.
And where the person at the centre of care finally gets the benefit of everyone looking at the bigger picture.

Because people need proper whole-of-person care.

And until we start connecting the dots between the different people, services and organisations supporting them, that simply will not happen.

We want to work with you all.

Not competing. Connecting.
Not working alone. Rising together.

If you believe there is a better, more connected way forward for health, we would love you to be part of it.

Absolutely incredible news from The Arzen Collective…

Two months ago, our very first pathway client was referred to us by a private hospital and a specialist women’s health physiotherapist—two trusted healthcare partners we work closely with.

Her pain was so severe that we were told she could barely tolerate being touched. She was taking daily medication, had been signed off work and was facing the possibility of an operation she desperately did not want.

Those supporting her felt they had exhausted the options available to them.

At her pathway check-in, she reported that she has now been pain-free and off her pain medication for two months. Her blood test markers have reduced significantly, and she feels like a completely different person.

Then came a message from the professionals who had referred her.

They were completely blown away by her transformation.
She moves like a new woman.
She carries herself like a new woman.

She acts like a new woman.
All in all, she is like a new woman.

This was not the result of one treatment or one practitioner. It came from bringing the right specialists together, sharing the wider picture and connecting the dots around what may have been contributing to her pain.

One client. One connected pathway. Multiple specialists working together.

This is why The Arzen Collective exists—not to replace the healthcare professionals already supporting someone, but to work alongside them. To look beyond isolated symptoms, explore the full picture and help move a person’s health in the right direction.

Sometimes, the missing piece is connection.

And this is only the beginning.

If you are struggling to find the answers and are losing hope, let Arzen start to connect the dots and move things in the right direction.

Honoured to share that I have been selected as an invitee to the Women of the Year Lunch & Awards 2026.

I’ve since been told that there is no further shortlisting stage — being nominated and invited means I am being recognised as one of the extraordinary women celebrated in the room.

Officially mind blown...

To be included among handpicked women from across the UK and beyond, all creating change in their own way, is an incredible honour.

For me, this recognition is not just personal. It reflects the work being built through The Arzen Collective - the people, the practitioners, the community, the stories, and the belief that healthcare and wellbeing can be done differently.

Thank you to everyone who continues to see, support and champion the work we are doing.
A very special moment, and one I am truly grateful for.

Ivelina rated us 5 out of 5!

Had a lovely reflexology treatment with Amanda. She is the best at what she does! Not only her treatments have helped me deal with my health issues but she’s also a beautiful soul with a beautiful energy, I could talk to her for hours! During the appointment she makes sure you’re comfortable and she genuinely cares and wants you to have the best experience possible! I’m always looking forward to my appointments with her and would recommend her treatments to everyone who needs it or just as a form of self care 🙂

Beautiful surroundings for my treatment today. AMMA always knows when someone needs to rest or chat. I had a restful treatment with things picked up that have been bothering me for a while. Have booked my next treatment. Thankyou xx
