🎈🐰♠️ The preparations have officially begun for our Alice in Wonderland Garden Party as part of Care Home Open Week on Friday 19th June! ♣️🎩🌹Today we created a fabulous balloon arch, and we are so excited to see everything coming together for what promises to be a wonderful afternoon of fun, laughter, and community spirit.Our residents have loved watching the decorations take shape, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to join us down the rabbit hole for a magical Alice in Wonderland-themed celebration ❤️

What a lovely surprise today when our talented Senior Carer treated residents and staff to an impromptu performance! 🎶❤️
The room was filled with smiles, singing along, dancing and plenty of applause as everyone enjoyed the entertainment. It’s moments like these that make our home such a special place to be🌟🎤

Today our fabulous residents had a wonderful time taking part in some fun and engaging activities. We enjoyed a lively game of balloon badminton, filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles🎈😊
We also got moving with some beautiful scarf dancing, where residents expressed themselves through movement while enjoying music and spending time together🌈💃
A fantastic day was had by all, and it was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying themselves❤️

☕🌸 Today we celebrated National Tea Day with our lovely residents by tasting a selection of herbal and fruit teas! From fruity favourites to calming herbal blends, everyone enjoyed trying something a little different and sharing their thoughts on each flavour 🍓🍋🌿
There were plenty of smiles, chats, and warm cups shared throughout the day — a lovely way to spend time together💛

Yesterday for Superhero Day, we brought out everyone’s inner hero here at the home 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
We asked our amazing residents and staff: “If I was a superhero my powers would be”— and the answers didn’t disappoint, it was lovely to hear everyone’s choices.
The activity sparked so much laughter, storytelling, and connection between residents and staff. It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to keep having fun, sharing memories, and letting imaginations run free at any age 💛

Our Easter bonnet creations are well underway here at Larkhill Hall 🐣🎀
Our residents have been busy getting creative, using a variety of colours, decorations, and plenty of imagination to design their very own unique bonnets 🫶🏻Its been wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the activity together 🌸💛
There’s lots of laughter, creativity, and teamwork filling the room, and we can’t wait to see all the finished masterpieces ready for our Easter bonnet competition on Wednesday 1st April .
It’s going to be a tough job choosing a winner! 🏆🐰👒💛
