What a fabulous afternoon we’ve had with our wonderful residents ❤️
Today we enjoyed a Wigs, Wine & Cheese Tasting afternoon — and what a laugh we had 😂🍷 From trying on some fabulous wigs to tasting delicious cheeses and enjoying a glass of wine, there were smiles all around 🫶🏻
We danced, listened to some of our favourite music and laughed the afternoon away 🎶💃🕺
Nothing beats seeing our residents having fun, letting their hair down (or putting a new one on 😂👩‍🦰👱‍♀️) and making more wonderful memories together 💜

💜 LARKHILL HALL SPONSORED MEMORY WALK 💜
This Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, our residents and staff are coming together for a very special challenge (family and friends welcome to join us)💜
🚶‍♀️ 100 LAPS – ONE DAY – ONE GOAL! 🚶‍♂️
📅 Wednesday 23rd September 2026
Throughout the day, we’ll all take turns completing laps of our garden and grounds, working together until we reach an amazing 100 laps 💪💜
We’d absolutely love your support! Every lap counts and every pound helps, with donations going towards supporting Alzheimer’s research and local dementia support services.

💜 What a fabulous week we’ve had with our wonderful residents at Larkhill Hall 💜
We’ve certainly been keeping busy with lots of fun activities, including making colourful pom-poms, getting active with some fitness games, and enjoying a lovely nails day – with everyone choosing purple nails in support of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month 💅💜
Today, we also spent some special time creating our Memory Jars, filling them with precious memories, happy moments and stories to treasure 🫙✨
Lots of smiles, laughter and wonderful moments shared together – just the way we like it💜🫶🏻

💜🎈 Our Alzheimer’s Awareness Month Balloon Arch is Complete🎈💜
Our beautiful purple balloon arch is all ready at Larkhill Hall as we show our support for Alzheimer’s Awareness Month throughout September 💜
We have lots of meaningful activities, fundraising and special moments planned throughout the month to help raise awareness and support those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia 🫶🏻
We can’t wait to share everything we get up to 💜🦋

Yesterday and today we say a heartfelt goodbye to Trish and Gordon as they leave us to begin their retirement 💐🎉
We would like to thank them both for all their hard work, dedication and the wonderful memories they have created during their time with us. They will be greatly missed by everyone ❤️
We wish you both a long, happy and relaxing retirement filled with plenty of special moments and new adventures. 🫶🏻

Today our residents enjoyed a wonderful Alice in Wonderland Tea Party & Bingo 💕🎩🫖
There were lots of smiles, laughter and a little bit of friendly competition as our residents enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea before getting stuck into a fun game of bingo 🎉🎱
It was a truly magical afternoon filled with good company, tasty treats and plenty of Wonderland fun 🐰💗

🎪 What an amazing day we had on Saturday at our Summer Fayre! ☀️🎉

A huge thank you to every single person who came along and supported us. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, and we hope you all had as much fun as we did 🫶🏻
Our residents had the a fabulous day making wonderful memories, enjoying all the entertainment, games, and stalls, and seeing so many people come together to support them. Their smiles made all the hard work worthwhile❤️
A massive thank you to all of our fantastic stall holders for helping to make the day such a success. We really appreciate you giving up your time and supporting our event 🤩
And finally, a huge shout-out to our incredible staff. Thank you for all your hard work before, during, and after the fayre, and for getting involved to make it such a memorable day for our residents, families, and visitors ❤️
We couldn’t have done it without you all. Thank you for making our Summer Fayre such a fantastic success! 🎪❤️🌞

🎪🎈 Our balloon arch is all done and we’re officially Summer Fayre ready 🎈🎪
The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone this Saturday for a fun-filled day with our wonderful residents, families and the local community.
Come along and enjoy games, stalls, refreshments, entertainment and plenty of circus-themed fun 🎠🍿🎪

🎈🏸 Giant Balloon Badminton Fun🏸🎈
There were plenty of smiles, laughter and friendly competition as our wonderful residents enjoyed a game of giant balloon badminton 💛
This fun activity encouraged gentle movement, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and lots of laughter while creating more special memories together.
It’s always amazing to see everyone getting involved and cheering each other on. Well done to all our residents 🎈😊
