We're hiring Support Workers across Greater Manchester, Runcorn, Wirral and Lancashire.

Join us at our Recruitment Open Day this Learning Disabilities Week to learn how we support adults and children with complex needs to live fulfilling lives. You'll also have the opportunity to take part in an informal interview and meet members of the team.

Whether you're experienced in care or considering a new career path, we'd love to meet you. Full training is provided, alongside ongoing development and career progression opportunities.

We'll be sharing information about our specialist services, flexible permanent and bank roles, and the different career pathways available within Amore Complex Care.

You will also have the opportunity to listen to a Case Officer talk about how we support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

There’s no better way to celebrate World Bicycle Day than by sharing one of our recent favourite fun days out within Amore Complex Care 🚲

One of our clients recently enjoyed a day out in the sun with support from their fantastic Support Workers and the dedicated team at My Life Legacy.

They had a go on the bike, planted a pumpkin seed, watered it, and wrote their name on the plant marker so they can come back and check how it’s growing

Days like this are all about enjoying the experience, getting active outdoors, and supporting people to do the things that matter to them - in ways that are meaningful, fun, and person-centred.

🎨 Creativity can take so many forms - painting, drawing, crafting, and creating something uniquely personal.

This National Creativity Day, we’re celebrating the creativity of our Complex Care clients and the many ways they express themselves through art.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Art In Mind event for - whether that was crafting together in person, getting creative through art in VR, or joining in from home with their own projects.

We’ve loved seeing so much imagination on display. From SB drawing Chewie the Dog and SBO making handmade cards, to another of our Complex Care clients trying painting on canvas, each piece reflects individuality, creativity, and joy.

Arts and crafts are just one of the many ways we support people to explore their interests, express themselves, and spend time doing something meaningful to them. Whether it’s picking up a paintbrush, sketching a much-loved pet, or trying something completely new, creative activities can build confidence, encourage connection, and bring a real sense of achievement.

It’s been wonderful to see so many people getting involved and sharing their creativity with us. 🫶

☀️ Sunshine, fresh air, and time in nature - what better way to boost wellbeing?

During , at our Art In Mind event, we asked our team, clients and wider community: “What makes you happy?”.

Everyone we thoughts on our Tranquili-tree - and one response was connecting with nature.

🫶 It’s something our Complex Care clients clearly agree with. From JD's beaming smile while he was petting a horse and SB planting sunflowers to two more clients planting pumpkin seeds and seedlings into hanging baskets and pots, it has been wonderful to see everyone enjoying the warmer weather in ways that are meaningful to them.

Supporting people to spend time outdoors, explore their interests, and engage in activities they enjoy can have a real impact on wellbeing, confidence, and overall quality of life.

🗞️ We’re thrilled to be featured in Runcorn & Widnes World following our recent wellbeing event, Art in Mind, delivered in collaboration with Art VR

The two-day event brought together the people we support, our team members, health and social care professionals, and members of the local community to explore creativity, connection, and wellbeing through immersive experiences.

Here at Amore Complex Care, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our clients and team members, not just during Mental Health Awareness Month, but throughout the entire year. 💙

From providing team members with access to Mental Health First Aiders and debrief sessions, to creating opportunities for our teams to help shape the organisation while feeling supported throughout their journey, these are just some of the ways we invest in the wellbeing of our people.

💙 During our Art in Mind event for , we asked our team members "What makes you happy?".

We care about the people we support, and we care about the individuals who support them too. Creating positive environments where Support Workers and health and social care staff feel valued, connected, and happy is absolutely crucial to us.

That’s why we work hard to support our teams with dedicated Mental Health First Aiders, development opportunities and day-to-day encouragement - helping our Support Workers and staff feel appreciated and supported both inside and outside of work. ✨

Read some of the notes left on our Tranquili-tree during our 'Art In Mind' event for - small reminders that wellbeing looks different for everyone.

For some people, it’s music. For others, it’s connecting with nature, taking a walk, growing a sunflower, or relaxing in a warm bath after a long day. 💙

Our 'Art In Mind' attendees also had the opportunity to trial Art VR, founded by Sarah Wilkinson, whose own love for the seaside inspired one of the calming virtual environments within the software — a peaceful coastal space modelled after her sanctuary in Norfolk.

For our staff, clients and community. we're emphasising just how important it is take time to reconnect with the things that bring comfort, calm, and joy into our lives.
