Happy Thanks Giving to all our American customers on Thursday 26 November 2026.

Personally, I think Thanksgiving is a fabulous idea.

I have lots to be thankful for this year, because last year was difficult.

So I am going to borrow your tradition for a moment.

I would like to thank Aintree Hospital and Broadgreen Hospital staff who looked after me, before, during and after my operation last year.

I would like to thank my husband and my girls for their amazing support during my recovery.

I would like to thank my boys for sending silly texts and making me laugh whilst I was recovering.

I would like to thank Hazel for the best "coming back to work" hug I have ever had and I would like to thank Wendy, Charlotte, Karen for listening when I needed someone to talk to.

I would like to thank Andy J for sorting out financial stuff when I returned to work and for being so helpful.

I would like to thank Nick and Tom for being my "weights" when I had to use exercise bands to strengthen my wrist and get motion back. They sat in the chairs that I used to pull the exercise bands on, so that they wouldn't screech across the floor. I still have to use them, but no quite so often.

I also haven't forgotten all of Shopmobility's amazing customers who helped me to feel great and helped me by parking their own scooters, when I couldn't. Their patience and kind words helped my recovery no end.

Local Solutions is a wonderful place to work.

Thank you everyone, lots of love.

I would also like to thank my cat, for all her purring and for sitting with me when I felt low.

Hey, it is nearly December 2026 - do you know what that means?
- Late Night Shopping for our customers!!!

We are open LATE on Thursdays during December 2026 on the run up to Christmas, when Father Christmas (Santa), asks all parents and grandparents, aunts, uncles, guardians to help collect the toys and gifts for all the good boys and girls, in the world, from the shops his elves have stored them in all year.

Liverpool One, the MetQuarter and St Johns Centre, as well as all the smaller shops in the area are asked to do this every year, and our team at Shopmobility are always asked by Father Christmas (Santa), to stay open late.

Here are the Late Night Shopping Dates:-

Thursday 3 December 2026 10am-7pm
Thursday 10 December 2026 10am-7pm

One of our lovely customers said that she enjoyed using our scooter for the first time, today.

18/10/2026

Little message for our Shopmobility customers and Q Park car park customers....and for anyone else who may see this....

Just a reminder that the Strand Street Q Park car park no longer has toilets for public use, due to "unwelcome guests" sleeping inside them.

So our Shopmobility team, thought we would try to be helpful, and make a little list of where you can seek a toilet when you are visiting Liverpool:-

in department stores,
public toilets on Wall Street
in restaurants
in cafes
in theatres
in cinemas

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOPMOBILITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for the QPARK STRAND STREET TOILETS.

Thank you, have a lovely evening, from the Shopmobility team x
