Here’s our graduate Dave demonstrating how our Somali tea (Shaah) is made ensuring he follows the authentic recipe gifted to us from our Somali volunteers complete with traditional spices.🫖

Each cup of tea is made with care and confidence at Mahaba Café.
If you haven’t already, try our Shaah and come into on Fridays for an aromatic, rich cup of tea supporting our learners, we’d love to see you!❤️☕️

🎓Last Thursday, we celebrated the great achievements of our former learners and now graduates of Mahaba Café with our graduation ceremony!
Our annual graduation day is so much more than certificates, but it's a celebration of the resilience, talent and bright futures ahead.
The graduates of Mahaba Cafe continuously show what’s possible when opportunity meets belief!
We hosted the loved ones of our 16 incredible graduates, the amazing supporters of Mahaba Cafe, including Councillor Claire Welsby and MP Deirdre Costigan .costigan.mp for Ealing Southall and Bassam Mahfouz London Assembly member for Ealing and Hillingdon, who all do incredible work. As well as Deputy Lieutenant Richard Kornicki for the Borough of Ealing, who presented the certificates. It was a joyous occasion with our graduates celebrating in style with dancing and music.🥳
A special thanks to AD construction for their amazing support and for supplying wonderful work bags that will be hugely useful for our graduates on their next endeavours. Also, our appreciation extends to Gail’s for providing the catering for the event!

💛 Tomorrow is one of our favourite days of the year… our Annual Graduation Ceremony!

We can’t believe another year has flown by.

Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating an incredible group of young people who have worked so hard, grown in confidence, developed new skills, and achieved so much during their journey at Mahaba.

Every certificate tells a story of resilience, determination, courage and progress — and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our learners.

We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone together. 🎓✨
