At Ealing Mencap, we love a good celebration — and we’d love you to join us for our 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner in support of children and adults with learning disabilities across Ealing and Hounslow. 💛

Great day out at Pear Tree Park last week! ⚽️ We enjoyed football, garden games, and a yummy picnic in the sunshine ☀️ It was lovely to get some exercise, have fun, and spend time with friends. 😊

Throwback Thursday to Learning Disability Week 💙✨

We had a fabulous time at the steps of Ealing Town Hall, coming together to share the message: “Do you see me?” 🙌

There were so many smiles, brilliant conversations and lots of energy as we celebrated visibility, inclusion and the voices of people with learning disabilities 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special day! 🌟

Last week we attended Mahaba Café’s third annual Graduation Ceremony 🎓✨ It was a fantastic evening with some familiar local faces, .costigan.mp and the Lord Lieutenant, Richard Kornicki.

The night was all about celebrating success and recognising the hard work and achievements of the brilliant Mahaba Café graduates 👏 Such a wonderful place, and we love working together to make Ealing a more inclusive place for people with a learning disability 💜🌈

This week we want to give a huge shoutout to all our amazing staff who helped make our Stand With Us event last week so fabulous and run so smoothly.

They work incredibly hard behind the scenes running our services, and still took time out of their busy schedules to show just how important DO YOU SEE ME? and Learning Disability Week are for our community.

Last week for Learning Disability Week, we headed to Green Lanes for their Short Breaks open day 🌞

Short Breaks offer vital support to carers by giving children and young people opportunities to spend time away from their primary carers, in a safe and fun environment 💜

It was a fantastic day, with our members helping out in the sunshine and getting involved in the activities 🌈✨
