Let me make this VERY clear.

“I can afford a reading, but I have more important things to spend my money on” — completely understandable. Your money, your choice.

But messaging me saying my reading is “too expensive,” asking me to make it cheaper because you can’t afford basic needs or bills, while actively TRYING to bring another child into the world? Sorry, but I will NEVER understand that.

And like I said in my previous post — some of you spend a small fortune every month on pregnancy tests, testing over and over again, plus plenty of other unnecessary things that somehow find their way into the shopping basket. But suddenly $20 for someone’s professional time and work is “too expensive.”

That’s exactly what I mean by PRIORITIES.

This is NOT me telling anyone to spend food or bill money on my services. A reading is OPTIONAL. If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it.

But another child isn’t free. A child needs food, clothes, healthcare and financial support for YEARS.

If you’re already choosing which basic bill you can afford to pay this month, then questioning whether NOW is the right time to intentionally add another child isn’t rude. It’s reality.

You don’t have to like my opinion, but please don’t ask me to undervalue my work because of the way you choose to prioritise your own money.

One minute to leave the promised review = suddenly no time. 😂

And this is exactly why, girls, please don’t be surprised when I say STOP to the free cards.

Yesterday I spent around 30 minutes messaging with someone, answering her and doing her free card pull in exchange for a review.

When it came to the review, suddenly: “I’m driving, I’ll do it later.”

I specifically said that I was disappointed because I had actually planned to surprise her and give her a whole additional reading/question completely FREE. I genuinely thought that after having 30 minutes to sit and message with me, she would also take a minute to leave the review straight away.

And then… magic. 😂

Within literally ONE MINUTE, a long detailed review appeared, together with “sorry,” explanations about why she hadn’t done it earlier… and asking whether I could still do the additional reading for free.

So you had 30 minutes to message me, but not one minute for the review — while at the same time you were still replying to my messages?

And if you were driving and couldn’t leave a review… how were you able to continue messaging me? 🤷‍♀️

I respect people who respect me and my time too. If I give you my time for free, the least I expect is that you respect what we agreed.

Unfortunately, situations like this are exactly why I’m stopping the free cards.

It’s a shame because there are genuinely lovely people who appreciate what they receive, but they end up missing out because others only seem to find time when there is something else FREE available for them.

Girls, seriously think about your priorities for a moment.

I’m honestly tired of getting messages saying, “I desperately want to know, but I can’t afford $16–$50 for a reading.”

You go grocery shopping? how much ends up in your basket simply because you want it, not because you actually need it? How many things get forgotten, wasted or thrown in the bin? Takeaways, coffees, pregnancy tests at 6–7 DPO, another pack of Clearblue because you want to test again tomorrow… suddenly the money is there.

But when it comes to paying someone for their time and professional service, it becomes “I can’t afford it.”

And especially if you’re planning for a baby, finances are something you need to think about. A child will have needs every single day. You can’t tell your baby, “I can’t afford it, I need to save.”

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with not wanting a psychic reading. You don’t need one, and nobody is forcing you to buy one.

But messaging me repeatedly about how badly you need answers, how desperate you are to know, asking question after question — and then expecting me to provide my work for free because paying $16, $30 or $50 isn’t a priority for you — is different.

If you genuinely cannot afford it, save your money. I respect that. But please don’t expect someone else to work for free because you chose to prioritise your money elsewhere.

Sometimes it isn’t about whether the money exists.
It’s simply about what you choose to spend it on.
