We have been keeping busy at Burrows House with lots of activities recently! 💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a Music and Movement session, getting involved with the music and some gentle movement, followed by some fun ball games together. It was lovely to see everyone joining in and having a go.

There is always something going on at Burrows House, and we love seeing our residents getting involved in the activities they enjoy 🎶⚽

A lovely morning in the garden at Burrows House ! 🌿🍅

Our wonderful residents enjoyed getting stuck into some gardening and harvesting our homegrown tomatoes. There is something rather satisfying about picking your own produce, especially when you have watched it grow from the beginning.

Now the important question is, what shall we make with our tomatoes? 💜

A very happy birthday to our lovely Daphne! 🎂💜

We celebrated her special day at Burrows House with her niece and members of our wonderful team. It was lovely to see Daphne enjoying her birthday surrounded by people who care about her.

💆‍♀️✨ We had a lovely spa day at Burrows House !

Our wonderful residents enjoyed some well deserved time to relax and be pampered, and it sounds like everyone was keen for more. We were even being asked when the next session would be! 💜

It looks like our spa days might have to become a regular favourite at Burrows House 😊

As summer comes to an end, we’re looking back at some of our August highlights across Gold Care Homes ☀️💜

With plenty of summer sunshine, our homes found ways to enjoy the summer while keeping cool, with ice creams and ice cream van visits proving particularly popular! 🍦

We also put the kettle on for Afternoon Tea Week, enjoyed some well-earned downtime for National Relaxation Day and made the most of the Summer Bank Holiday.

🦁🌿 We had a wonderful time at Burrows House for our annual summer celebration!

Our wonderful residents, families and team members came together for our ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ summer party, with a fantastic live singer, favourite songs and plenty of dancing. We were also delighted to welcome the wonderful children from Ladybird Nurseries , who brought lots of energy to the dance floor! 🎶💜

It was lovely to see everyone spending time together, enjoying the music and making memories across the generations 🥳

🎂 We have had a couple of lovely birthday celebrations at Burrows House !

Elaine and Gordon were both treated to special celebrations, with our wonderful residents, team members and Gordon’s family coming together to mark their birthdays. There was plenty of cake, good company and lots of birthday wishes shared 💜

It is always lovely to celebrate these special moments together and make sure our birthday boys and girls feel extra special. Happy birthday, Elaine and Gordon! 🥳

🐶 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

We had a lovely visit from Dixie and her owner at Burrows House today. Our wonderful residents were delighted to spend some time with Dixie, giving her plenty of fuss and enjoying her company 💜

Dixie certainly seemed to enjoy all the attention too, and we think she might have made a few new friends during her visit! 🐾

We have had a lovely few days at Burrows House , with plenty going on for our wonderful residents 💜

David, Deborah and Bill from our local church came in to lead a wonderful service in the main lounge. Our residents enjoyed singing the hymns, listening to David take the service and joining in with Deborah’s prayers.

We have also enjoyed some special family time, with Carole having a lovely visit from her son, while Jean and Doreen got creative making and painting snakes ready for our ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ party 🐍🎨
