MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE.
For your heart. For your muscles. For your mind.
Movement doesn’t have to mean marathons, PBs or hours in the gym.
As an osteopath, one of the most common things I see is how quickly the body can become stiff when we stop moving altogether.
The good news? Movement doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective.
Regular movement can help:
• Reduce stiffness and pain
• Support joint health
• Maintain strength and mobility
• Improve mood and energy levels
• Support better sleep
• Improve long-term health
Whether it’s walking, swimming, strength training, playing sport or simply finding more opportunities to move throughout the day, it all counts.
The best type of movement isn’t necessarily the hardest.
It’s the one you enjoy enough to keep doing.
Whatever pace suits you, however long you have, and whatever feels comfortable for your body, it all adds up.
Because when it comes to movement, consistency matters far more than perfection.
Your body and mind will thank you for it.
