🔺Some people can switch on in seconds.
- The meeting starts.
- The pressure rises.
- The decision needs to be made.
- And they’re ready.
That ability to perform under pressure can be a real strength.
🔺But there’s another side we don’t talk about enough:
Can you switch off just as easily?
For many high-performing professionals, the answer is no.
- The laptop closes, but the mind keeps working.
- The conversation is over, but you replay it.
- The day ends, but your body still feels like it’s under pressure.
Over time, constantly being “on” can affect recovery, sleep, emotional control, concentration and, ultimately, performance.
🔺 At TheraFit London, we work with people who are used to carrying responsibility and performing at a high level.
The goal isn’t to make you less ambitious.
It’s to help you perform sustainably, and learn how to genuinely switch off when the pressure is over.
Because being able to switch on is a strength.
Being able to switch off is one too.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
