Recently, we received a review that touched every member of The Key Clinic team.

Reading about a child's journey and the impact it has had on their entire family is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. We're so grateful that this family took the time to share their experience.

When they first came to The Key Clinic, their son was facing complex learning difficulties, ASD, ADD, sensory processing challenges, and speech and language difficulties.

At the time, he struggled to:

• Join group activities
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Build friendships
• Communicate confidently
• Take part in everyday activities independently

Fast forward 2.5 years...
Today, he:

âś… Plays team sports
âś… Communicates confidently with others
âś… Has improved coordination and motor skills
âś… Has achieved multiple swimming levels
âś… Enjoys meaningful friendships
âś… Has made remarkable educational progress
âś… Approaches life with growing confidence and independence

In his parents' words:
"Things that were believed he would never be capable of, never be part of, or have the chance to enjoy, are now well within his reach."

We're incredibly grateful to have been part of this journey and so proud of everything this young person has achieved through his dedication, perseverance and hard work.

Stories like these remind us why we do what we do.

Revisiting this wonderful video from Juliet Little. “Neurodiverse brains aren’t broken, they just need a different operating manual.”

Thank you for sharing your family’s experience with ADHD and dyslexia.

Incredible effort from Jasper, who is taking on the Thames Path this May to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity after being diagnosed with a terminal grade 4 astrocytoma.

After surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Jasper has chosen to turn an unimaginably difficult journey into something that helps others, walking the Thames Path over three weeks to raise awareness and vital funds for brain tumour research and support.

His walk has already raised tens of thousands of pounds and will finish at the Thames Barrier in London on Monday 25 May.

If you’re able to donate, support, share, or even join part of the walk, it would mean a huge amount: https://www.justgiving.com/page/dixjasper

Wishing Jasper all the very best on this adventure đź’™

You’ve received an ADHD diagnosis… now what?

It’s a question we hear all the time. The next step isn’t to “fix” yourself, it’s to understand how your brain works, and how to support it.

With the right tools, strategies, and guidance, ADHD can become something you work with, not against. We’re here to help you take that next step.

It is Neurodiversity Week, a week that is especially important for us here at The Key Clinic.

To celebrate the week and raise awareness, we spoke to our founder Sarah Warley and asked her to share her insights into neurodiversity.

In this video, Sarah talks about the often-overlooked link between neurodiversity and mental health.

She explains how navigating a world designed for neurotypical people can lead to masking, stress, anxiety, and low self-confidence, and why supporting both mental health and the underlying neurological factors is key to helping individuals thrive.
