If you ever pop in on the right evening, you might catch the lights down low and the ceiling turned into a starry, colour-shifting galaxy 🌌💫 It's one of the simplest additions to the home, but honestly one of the most loved — by residents and staff alike!

Spaces like this matter more than people realise. For residents who can feel overwhelmed or anxious, a gentle, immersive environment like our sensory room offers a place to unwind — no noise, no rush, just soft colour and calm. For others, it's pure joy: watching the lights twinkle, the mirror ball spin, just sitting back and taking it all in 💙

It's a lovely reminder that good care isn't just about routines and medication — it's about creating moments of comfort, calm and connection too 🪩✨

We were so happy to welcome the lovely Jacqui Dean to Rowallan House recently! 🎤

Jacqui had our residents singing along, clapping and smiling from start to finish. There's something about live music that just lifts everyone's spirits — and Jacqui has a real gift for connecting with people through song.

It was a wonderful afternoon and our residents are already asking when she's coming back! We can't wait either.
