📢 Dr Mark Stuart OBE.

We're delighted to congratulate Dr Mark Stuart, appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the King's Birthday Honours 2026, in recognition of his services to the pharmacy profession in sport and to anti-doping.

Mark has supported UKAD since 2002 as the UK pharmacist expert in drugs in sport for Global DRO, making an extraordinary contribution to global sport, pharmacy, and clean competition. A truly well-deserved honour.

UKAD completed 8,942 tests across the 2025/26 financial year, an increase of 264 on the previous year, as we step up our efforts ahead of a major summer of sport.

In the final quarter (January to March 2026 / Q4), UKAD conducted 2,382 tests, an increase of 309 on the same period last year, with 76% taking place out-of-competition.

Not knowing is not an excuse❕
Supplements risk containing prohibited substances, they could become contaminated during the manufacturing process or contain banned substances that aren't listed on the product's ingredients list.

If you choose to use supplements, ensure they are from reputable brands, certified (and batch tested) by risk minimisation programmes, and check the batch number online before taking them.
