A LIST OF STUDIES ON PEMF ‼️

This is not medical advice...but information for your consideration 💞

Check out these studies!

Chemotherapy is a MULTI BILLION dollar business. At Hippocrates Health institute they use PEMF in their cancer protocol.

PEMF (8 Hz, 0.011 T, twice daily 5 days) induced cell death and senescence selectively in breast cancer cells (MCF-7, MDA-MB-231); increased viability in normal fibroblasts (Pantelis et al. 2024).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38473720/

Osteogenic PEMF moderately suppressed breast and lung cancer cell growth/proliferation in vitro and in vivo (Chen et al. 2022).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36172744/

Ultra-low intensity PEMF (20 Hz, 3 mT) selectively impaired viability and increased apoptosis in breast cancer cells (MCF7); no effect on normal breast cells (Crocetti et al. 2013).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24039828/

PEMF slowed proliferation in HT-1197 bladder cancer cells and altered gene expression favoring anti-cancer pathways (Sandberg et al. 2025).

🫯 Study - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12028732/

Tumor-specific amplitude-modulated EMF produced stable disease in some advanced cancer patients; no side effects (Barbault et al. 2009).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19366446/

Amplitude-modulated EMF in advanced HCC patients showed partial responses, stable disease, and pain relief; safe (Costa et al. 2011).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21829195/

PEMF reduced severity of acute radiodermatitis and skin thickness in breast cancer patients post-radiotherapy (RCT) (Mohamed et al. 2026).

🫯 Study - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41642361/

Review of PEMF in oncology: preclinical anti-tumor effects (apoptosis, anti-angiogenesis); 2 clinical studies showed safety and promise (Vadalà et al. 2016).

🫁 FUN FACT! DID YOU KNOW YOU ACTUALLY BREATHE OUT MOST OF THE FAT YOU LOSE?! 😳
Yep!!! When your body breaks down stored fat for energy...most of that fat's mass eventually leaves your body through your LUNGS! I remember when I learned this. I am like wow...so even my breath is fat??? 🤣😂
Here's how it works...
Your body stores fat primarily as triglycerides. When you burn that fat for energy...your body uses oxygen to break it down - producing carbon dioxide and water. The carbon dioxide is exhaled through your lungs, while the water leaves through urine, sweat, breath and other bodily fluids.
Approximately 84% of the mass of fat you lose leaves through your lungs as carbon dioxide, while the remaining 16% becomes water! WILD HUH?
So no, fat doesn't just magically melt away, turn into muscle or leave your body through sweat. Your metabolism actually converts it into substances your body can eliminate!
And before anyone starts breathing faster to lose weight... 😂 It doesn't work that way 🤣😂 You have to actually metabolize stored fat first. Breathing faster by itself won't make you burn more fat. No hyperventilating please. Trust me... I know it's tempting!!
However breathing through the nose rather than the mouth actually boosts the metabolism, so consciously breathe through the nose to boost fat loss!
The human body is absolutely fascinating isn't it!?!?

🦠 Do more billions mean a better probiotic?

You’ve probably seen probiotics boasting 10 billion, 50 billion or even 100 billion CFU.

But bigger numbers don't automatically mean better.

When choosing a probiotic, the specific strains, formulation and research behind them can be just as important as the number on the label.

That’s what we’re exploring in Week 4 of The Gut Truth – helping you understand what to look for rather than simply being impressed by the biggest number.

💚 And next time, we’ll be taking a closer look at MaXilin and what makes its approach different.

If you have missed any of the previous weeks please visit https://www.ph-life.co.uk/ where you can find them on our blog

🌱 What can actually support your gut?

We’ve talked about the gut microbiome and the fascinating connection between your gut and brain. Now, in Week 3 of The Gut Truth, we’re looking at probiotics.

Think of your gut like a garden. Probiotics introduce beneficial microorganisms – but just like plants, they’re not all the same. Different probiotic strains can have different characteristics and potential benefits.

And probiotics are only part of the picture. What you eat, sleep, physical activity and stress can all play a role in supporting your gut.

💚 Gut health is an ecosystem – not a quick fix.

We’ll also be sharing more about MaXilin as The Gut Truth continues. Want to know more now? Get in touch with the PH Life team.
