We are delighted to welcome John Bell back following his latest fundraising challenge, where he completed an incredible journey from John O'Groats to Land's End raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention.
As many of you know, John's passion has always been helping people find hope, purpose and connection through some of life's most difficult moments. We are pleased to announce that he will now be leading our Talking 4 Hope support groups full-time moving forward.
Talking 4 Hope is a support group run as part of Walking 4 Hope, providing a safe, welcoming and confidential space for adults to come together, talk openly and support one another without fear of judgement.
โ Brews and biscuits are always provided.
Whether you're struggling, feeling isolated, facing life's challenges, or simply need someone to listen, you will be welcomed with warmth, respect and understanding.
One question we are often asked is:
"Is this group only for bereaved parents or people affected by su***de?"
The answer is no.
Whilst John brings lived experience of grief, loss, mental health challenges and turning pain into purpose, Talking 4 Hope is open to any adult. You do not need to have experienced bereavement or su***de loss to attend.
Our aim is simple:
๐ A safe place to talk.
๐ A place where confidentiality is respected.
๐ A place free from judgement.
๐ A place where you can be yourself.
If you've been thinking about coming along for a while, consider this your invitation. You don't have to face things alone.
You are not alone. We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces.
