Carers Week 8th - 14th June
📢 Are you an unpaid carer?

We're pleased to welcome Carers First to the practice today until 2pm. They are available to offer free information, advice and support for anyone looking after a family member, friend or neighbour.

If you are a carer, or know someone who is, please pop into reception and have a chat with our Carers First representatives. There is lots of helpful information available and support services that may be able to help you in your caring role.

To mark Carers Week, The Deepings Practice will be hosting a range of events from Monday 8th June to Friday 12th June. Throughout the week, there will be lots going on to recognise, support, and celebrate unpaid carers in our community.
The timetable of events includes opportunities to access information, advice and support, meet local organisations, and find out more about the help available to carers. We encourage all carers, and those who think they may be carers, to take part and speak to our team.
We look forward to welcoming you to the practice and working together to support the health and wellbeing of carers in our community

During this period, the practice completed a total of 11,002 appointments, with 9,957 carried out at Market Deeping and 1,045 at Glinton. There were 322 DNA (Did Not Attend) appointments. We continue to work to provide accessible care and encourage patients to cancel appointments they are unable to attend so they can be offered to others.

This week is an opportunity to recognise the important role that the Patient Participation Groups (PPG) play in our GP practice.

PPGs bring patients and practice teams together to:

📢 Medication Collections at Glinton Dispensary

To help our dispensary team work efficiently and ensure prescriptions are processed as quickly as possible, we kindly ask patients only to attend Glinton Dispensary to collect medication after receiving a notification that it is ready for collection.

If you have any queries regarding your prescription, please contact us by telephone, chossing the dispensary option, or speak to our administration team at the hatch at Market Deeping Surgery.

Our staff at Glinton are experiencing frequent interruptions from medication enquiries, which is affecting their ability to complete essential dispensing work. Your cooperation will help us provide a better service for all patients.
