Getting back into work can feel like a big step and we get that.

When you come to us, the first thing we do is get to know you. We look at 6 areas of your life — your health, wellbeing, finances, skills, confidence, and support network — so we know exactly where you need help and where to start.

There is no pressure and you'll never be pushed to do something you're not ready for.

Here's how it works:
✅ Stage 1 — We help you get into a good routine and connect with people
✅ Stage 2 — We work out what's getting in the way and make a plan together
✅ Stage 3 — We get you onto courses and training to build up your skills
✅ Stage 4 — When you feel ready, we help you find work or a volunteer placement
✅ Stage 5 — Once you're in work, we stick with you for 6 months to make sure you settle in well

If you live in North Lanarkshire and you're struggling to feel like you can get a fresh start — you just need the right support to get there. Our job search support and confidence building are designed to break down those barriers and open doors to real, sustainable work. Whatever your situation, your journey starts with a conversation.

Having no help with low mood and no motivation can make everything feel impossible — We get that.

Routes to Work offers free community support for anyone currently out of work in North Lanarkshire who needs it. Even if you're feeling stuck and not quite ready to start looking — our doors are open for you.

You can find and drop in to see us at the our offices:
👉 Airdrie Business Centre Unit 15, 18 and 19, 1 Chapel Lane (Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm)
