☀️ Beat the heat and protect your joints this summer! High temperatures can sometimes aggravate arthritis, increasing swelling and fatigue, but you don't have to suffer through the season.
Here are quick, actionable ways to manage your symptoms:
💧 Hydrate: Drunk plenty of water
🕶️ Sun Safety: Check your meds—some make you burn faster. Grab a hat and sunscreen!
🧊 Cool Down: Use cold packs for 15 minutes to reduce heat-induced joint swelling.
🏊 Swim It Out: Exercise in a cool pool to take the pressure off your weight-bearing joints.Keep your cool and pace yourself today!

A heatwave is approaching. ☀️

As the weather changes, you might notice some changes in your symptoms.

In fact, some people with arthritis often say that they can predict the weather based on how their joints feel. Some notice their pain and stiffness flares up in the cold and wet winter months, while others find hot and humid summer weather can make symptoms worse.
