🌞Advice for tomorrows Solar Eclipse!
Absolutely non-negotiable, DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN without the required protection
If you have a pair of eclipse glasses they must conform to ISO 12312-2, regular sunglasses are not enough on their own! They must also be completely free of scratches or damage of any kind.
If you don't have any eclipse glasses you can make your own pinhole projector (see the link) or even use something like a colander!
Get ready to look up! On Wednesday 12 August 2026, the UK will experience the best solar eclipse since 1999. Find out how you can watch the eclipse safely and pick up a few ideas on how to create a pinhole projector.
