The Tranquil Cross team at their recent team meeting! A super productive meeting where they discussed positive feedback received from the families of the people we support, along with operational and regulatory updates and changes to policies and procedures. The team also discussed MCA & Best Interest scenarios. They reviewed plans for the summer, people’s engagement and independence levels, and completed a group task to identify what’s working well and areas to improve on in the home! Great work team!

Springfield enjoyed a fantastic day out with one of the people we support, taking a scenic Skybus flight to the beautiful Isles of Scilly.

The trip was part of a personalised desensitisation plan to build confidence with flying and marked a brilliant personal achievement. With breathtaking views, time exploring the islands and some wonderful memories made, it was another positive step forward.

Now onto the next part of the plan! 💚🙌💚

Today, we held our Summer Managers’ Meeting, bringing everyone together to share updates from across our homes and hear about the exciting plans, achievements, and recent transitions for the people we support.

We also heard updates from our Recruitment, HR, and PBS teams, sharing key developments and the fantastic work taking place across the organisation. We then explored recent trends, key learning, and areas of focus identified through CQC inspections and our own QA visits.

It was a valuable opportunity to share good practice, celebrate progress, learn from one another, and continue working together to deliver the best possible support for the people we support.

A productive team meeting at Huthnance today!

The team caught up on service updates, PBS plans and capable environments, alongside important discussions around safeguarding, Mental Capacity, DoLS and Best Interests.

There was also a strong focus on supporting people to build independence and confidence through everyday tasks, meaningful activities, community access and working towards their individual goals.

The team finished by reviewing health updates and making plans to ensure everyone continues to receive the right support to live a happy, meaningful and fulfilling life.

An exciting milestone for eight of our Green Light colleagues!
On Friday, eight colleagues came together as they prepared to begin their Level 3 apprenticeship programmes, supported by Training.

Their apprenticeships will give them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, develop new skills and grow in confidence. They’ll bring their learning back into their roles, building on the knowledge and experience already within our teams and helping the people we support achieve a lifestyle they’re proud of.

We’re incredibly proud of them for taking this next step in their development and look forward to following their progress. Please join us in wishing them every success on their apprenticeship journey! 👏💚
